Being on holiday and needing to find someone to fix our noisy exhaust, everyone else we tried couldn't fit us in and we were about to head home (4.5 hrs), but Grant said yes, I'll do it and a couple of hours later we were on our way again. Can't thank you guys enough!
This is my worst experience in a garage. It all started with my engine stalling on December 23. By ear I identify that this problem could come from the spark plugs. At reception this is what I explain, I also explain that I have knowledge of mechanics that I will be delighted to resolve the problem alone but that I am a foreigner with a work visa and that I do not have not the tools to repair. In return, I am asked to wait for the diagnosis. The mechanic's diagnosis is that it is an ignition coil. We trust the garage and we pay for a second hand ignition coil. Unfortunately on December 31st the same problem again. The garage being closed we are waiting for the reopening. We arrive a second time at the garage and again a diagnosis, the result is that we have to change the other 3 ignition coils we are forced to take second hands because for 4 ignition coils we are asked to pay $1185. We leave with the car, we drive 35km and the car is still in bad condition. I go back the next day, I'm tired, completely on edge and I ask if it's possible to do something I'm told no if you want you pay 4 new ones for $1185 that's all we can do . I cry with nerves, the mechanic looks at me and says go home. Wow So I left with tears in my eyes while some of the team sympathized and others laughed. I bought tools, when dismantling the engine, I discovered that the air intake was completely destroyed with 2 large openings, that they had not changed the spark plugs even though they were completely dead that I had only replaced 2 second hand ignition coils. That 2 bolts at the manifold had been reversed. Luckily I was able to find all the parts at the store for a total of $705 and he wanted to charge me $1185 on top of the $900 we had already paid for shoddy work. For all those who were honest and kind to us, I thank you for the others, the wheel turns. Why respond with such a delay with a lie when your work is so poor? You never considered changing the spark plugs, I also kept all the quotes and invoices. And the fault was still the same, I came back the next day (not 2 days later) I told you I only did 35km. Indeed after the first incompetent intervention there was no question of paying again. You all simply abused me. Go back and watch your YouTube tutorials to learn your trade. My car is working very well now that I HAVE MADE THE REPAIRS
Friendly folks (with some gorgeous office dogs) that provided a positive experience. My problem with a clicking steering wheel was sorted in a morning. They knew immediately what the problem was and how to fix it when I explained what was happening. Within 4 hours the part was sourced and replaced and I was on the road again. The team was happy to address any concerns and I feel the cost was fair.
Absolutely incredible people, the service was fantastic. During a moment of pure panic and desperation the sweet man who had his hands full took time to replace a bad fitting and give me some measurements for a proper replacement. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have gotten my car home. Thank you again for the amazing help. I will definitely be coming back and spreading the word! ❤️
