“I am a follower of Deli Department, a SPCA foster fail kitty that lives not too far away from Hawke’s Bay. I was in Napier visiting the gorgeous town and thought since I was here, maybe I can get a copy of the SPCA calendar that me, my friends and other Facebook cul…. Club members pitched in from around the world to get Deli Department on the cover (2 years running now). The shop had just closed and I was peeking in the window because I could spot the calendars but couldn’t see the kitty one. The lovely woman came to the door and I just wanted to know if there was any left but unfortunately there wasn’t. The lovely woman, Carren, made a phone call to 2 other locations and told me that she could get one for me!! I paid on the spot and the next day ran out of time to get back but had left my details and my hotel was only a couple blocks away so Carren dropped it off at my hotel and I couldn’t be happier! Thank you so much Carren! This made my trip just that much better!!”

They have many aircraft models, cars, lego, and table top games you won't find anywhere else. There is also an excellent selection of miniature paints and othe equipment. Their chess sets are Italian and high quality. Every second Saturday, Warhammer enthusiasts are welcome to play in the back room for free. Alternate Saturdays, you can build and paint your models with other like-minded people. The owners are so friendly and lovely. Highly recommend!”

“Had the best shopping experience ever thanks to Dave from the Rockshop in Napier. Super helpful, a wealth of knowledge, allowed me to take my time choosing a guitar, plugged them into an amp to demonstrate all the features of the guitar, allowed me to sit and jam for as long as I needed without hovering or feeling pressured to hurry up and buy something. “Always a clean and presentable supermarket like most new worlds, however personally I've not yet come across a new world that makes pies like the supermarket. -Gourmet steak and blue vein pie 9.2/10 Very suprised this hasn't won any awards. They dont spare it on the blue vein, and steak peices are very high quality. If you love blue vein cheese, you'll love this. - Steak, bacon, and cheese pie 8.6/10 All aspects of this pie are on point. Would have been higher if it was the same.shape as the steak and blue vein. However, it's still a great pie.”
