“A perfect flat white made with locally sourced Hohepa milk. The owner is a fantastic friendly guy who surfs longboards. They do takeaways, but I'd recommend taking a load off and enjoying your relaxing cuppa in-house. Highly recommended.”

“Finally found our new coffee place since moving to Taradale. If you are after a nice coffee and a snack, this is 100% the place to go. Great staff were very welcoming and attentive, had a cappuccino and Apple and Blueberry Muffin (best blueberry Muffin I've had in Hawkes Bay) to share with my partner in the nearby park. Looking forward to our new weekend ritual.”

“Fantastic breakfast place with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options ranging from smoothies, bowls to bagels and toasties and even breakfast porridge. You can customise you own toast with whatever you fancy. Granola bowl and Smoothies are delicious. Coffee is good, but bit bitter for my taste. Service very polite and friendly”

“We use Lot 2 for our catering at Board Meetings. Great communication - super easy to deal with. Food is always fresh, delicious and sensibly priced. The gf/ dairy free/ vegetarian options are always equally as delicious the rest of the menu as well. (Can't really comment on atmosphere as we used Lot 2 for catering, but didn't want to mark them down!)”

“What a great find, one of those small local wineries that have really passionate staff and make you feel welcome. All the wines we tried we liked and we bought 6 bottles because they were all so good. Food was awesome too and they had some really great vegan options, the pizza was so good and the home made hummus to die for, which was a nice change. Highly recommend.”
