We use Lot 2 for our catering at Board Meetings. Great communication - super easy to deal with. Food is always fresh, delicious and sensibly priced. The gf/ dairy free/ vegetarian options are always equally as delicious the rest of the menu as well. (Can't really comment on atmosphere as we used Lot 2 for catering, but didn't want to mark them down!)
We went to Lot2 a couple of nights ago and tried what they told us was a brand new menu for dinner. Being on vacation, we tried darn near all of it, and every single dish was amazing. The crudo is the only thing I remembered to take a picture of because I got so distracted by how good everything was. The attention to detail and range on this menu is impressive. Every sauce perfectly complements the dish (ex: light and fresh green sauce with a bit heavier lamb and beef croquettes). It’s one of the best meals that we had on our trip. We will definitely be back some day!
There was not a large choice of lunch from the menu. There were a few savory options in the cabinet. There is a daily special offered. Non alcoholic drink options are limited. I had the beef burger with horseradish sauce, it was very tasty. At the table we also had a prawn pasta dish, which was reasonable. The space inside is tight and we had to move our table and change our seating to accommodate other diners. There is seating outside and blankets available. We had to ask for our table to be wiped and for cutlery. The staff were polite and welcoming.
A nice, modern yet intimate setting for a coffee, a meal or dinner(later in the week). You can almost see your meal being cooked! The coffee and cabinet food have something for everyone with nice flavours. I’m plant based so the salads are perfect and regularly change. The nourish bowl is another of my favourites (which I had today) and is usually ready to go. Each day there is a different main for lunch. My favourite is Sago Fritters on a Monday. I have been for evening meals and Cliff is very flexible at offering something suitable if not many plant based dishes are on the menu. The meals are colourful and deliciously flavoursome. They also serve a good range of drinks with your meal. The staff are friendly and music at a nice level. A true escape from your everyday. A recipe for my go to for a nice lunch/dinner.
Exhoberent prices and poor taste. My friend got served fritters with bacon when she is a vegetarian and asked specifically for just fritters. The bacon was a poor effort, my mince was poorly made with some ready spices. Over all very disappointed with this outlet. Probably will suit people who have never gone out much and feel this is excellent food.
Awesome to discover this cafe on a Sunday afternoon at 4pm and find they were open and still serving good coffee and hot chocolate. Menu looks great too. Will certainly be going back to dine in.
