When we learn about Pukeko Treehouse through our friends, we were convinced to give it a try and the rest is history. “Coachella played at my 60th birthday this weekend, they were fabulous! Kept the guests on the dance floor all night long, playing all the favorites. They also learnt a song written by my father so we could dance to this, and they did it so well, some guests were moved to tears, it was so beautiful. I can't recommend them highly enough!!!!!!”

“A wonderful preschool. Our daughter attended for 2 years before school and she loved it. There is a lot of outdoors time, including a morning walk each day, and time spent with animals and on the farm. The teachers are all wonderful, and there is minimal staff changes which allows the children to be settled and safe. The children have a good routine, while still being allowed free time to explore and be themselves. I would recommend this preschool to anyone wanting independent, confident and kind children, as these are the attributes I believe Newstead Preschool teaches.”

She has such an incredible gift in her teaching, and knows how to exactly tap in to where you are to offer rest, renewal and a space to recharge. “Bright Beginnings Early Learning Centre - Hamilton is like a second home to my 2 little girls. They are very supportive of the children’s early learning and individual development. The rooms are spacious, warm and cozy and provide different kinds of resources for the children to explore. My girls are always excited to go to kindy every morning. Since I have also recently become part of this centre, it’s good to know and see for myself how things work in the centre and how very passionate the staff are in looking after every child like they are family. As a parent, it gives me the peace of mind that my children are in good hands and are well taken cared of. Definitely made the right decision to enroll our children here.”

“Belinda Goodwin is a natural and empathetic dance teacher who appears to have found her true calling in life. Her classes are inspirational - each session commencing with Belinda giving an explanation of what areas and systems she is focusing on for that class. Each dance is demonstrated and its beneficial components explained further throughout the movement. Belinda also elaborates on the links between the physical and emotional aspects of the movements and how they are related to the rhythm of the music for each piece. As participants she reminds us off the importance of the brain to develop new neural networks which can only serve to benefit participants further. Belinda gains the trust of her pupils so they work hard to meet her expectations. She uses praise constantly and does not criticise or cajole her students. She encourages them to do what they feel they can best achieve within the limitations of their Individual conditions. The class benefits from her physicality, musicality and sense of spirituality as well as her great sense of rhythm. She loves to heighten the mood of a dance by adding vocalisations to give special emphasis to sections of the music that she particularly enjoys or wants stressed. Her special talents combined with her enthusiasm for life and her compassion, concern and consideration for and of her pupils as individuals make Belinda an unforgettable, excellent dance teacher. “My daughter went there, and she says that it’s the best piano class she’s gone to so far. The piano teacher is super nice and will literally teach you anything if you ask him. He is also super talented, for example- my daughter asked him to teach her a song in a easier way, and the next thing I knew she was playing one of her favourite Japanese songs. She is very lucky to have such a talented musician.”
