The lighting, the personal intimate experience you get with being so close to the cast is fabulous, the door staff great. You have to remember the amazing work put in by volunteers here. Our new Theatre under construction is all very well but it will never reconstruct this atmosphere of closeup superb acting small spaces give you..Thank you all.”

“Coachella played at my 60th birthday this weekend, they were fabulous! Kept the guests on the dance floor all night long, playing all the favorites. They also learnt a song written by my father so we could dance to this, and they did it so well, some guests were moved to tears, it was so beautiful. I can't recommend them highly enough!!!!!!”

“Bright Beginnings Early Learning Centre - Hamilton is like a second home to my 2 little girls. They are very supportive of the children’s early learning and individual development. The rooms are spacious, warm and cozy and provide different kinds of resources for the children to explore. My girls are always excited to go to kindy every morning. Since I have also recently become part of this centre, it’s good to know and see for myself how things work in the centre and how very passionate the staff are in looking after every child like they are family. As a parent, it gives me the peace of mind that my children are in good hands and are well taken cared of. Definitely made the right decision to enroll our children here.”

“A wonderful preschool. Our daughter attended for 2 years before school and she loved it. There is a lot of outdoors time, including a morning walk each day, and time spent with animals and on the farm. The teachers are all wonderful, and there is minimal staff changes which allows the children to be settled and safe. The children have a good routine, while still being allowed free time to explore and be themselves. I would recommend this preschool to anyone wanting independent, confident and kind children, as these are the attributes I believe Newstead Preschool teaches.”

She has such an incredible gift in her teaching, and knows how to exactly tap in to where you are to offer rest, renewal and a space to recharge. I find my intuition unlocks even deeper after doing a class and find myself receiving guidance which is so supportive for where I am and what I've been journeying with. He is also super talented, for example- my daughter asked him to teach her a song in a easier way, and the next thing I knew she was playing one of her favourite Japanese songs. Due to the pressure of lockdown , transitioning my daughter at the age of 9 months had its difficult moments as a mother but the Kaiako here at Active Explorers were flexible, understanding and supportive through the whole journey. My daughter is nearly 2 and still to this day love sending her here. I love to see her excitement every day , and her affection she shows to both her Kaiako and her peers.”

“Our kids are thriving at Campus Creche. We first started our son in Kowhai when we first moved to Hamilton in 2019 & felt immediately at home. The creche teachers became family & supported us through a really tough transition moving cities. Since then our son has moved through each centre & is almost off to school. Luckily we get to keep being part of the community with our daughter recently starting at Whekī. Other than the wonderful kaiako, we really love the huge outdoor spaces & nature-based play our kids get to experience.”

“Belinda Goodwin is a natural and empathetic dance teacher who appears to have found her true calling in life. Her classes are inspirational - each session commencing with Belinda giving an explanation of what areas and systems she is focusing on for that class. Each dance is demonstrated and its beneficial components explained further throughout the movement. Belinda also elaborates on the links between the physical and emotional aspects of the movements and how they are related to the rhythm of the music for each piece. As participants she reminds us off the importance of the brain to develop new neural networks which can only serve to benefit participants further. Belinda gains the trust of her pupils so they work hard to meet her expectations. She uses praise constantly and does not criticise or cajole her students. She encourages them to do what they feel they can best achieve within the limitations of their Individual conditions. The class benefits from her physicality, musicality and sense of spirituality as well as her great sense of rhythm. She loves to heighten the mood of a dance by adding vocalisations to give special emphasis to sections of the music that she particularly enjoys or wants stressed. Her special talents combined with her enthusiasm for life and her compassion, concern and consideration for and of her pupils as individuals make Belinda an unforgettable, excellent dance teacher.
