Staff are polite and helpful when approached and store is clean and tidy even when busy whether its the start or end of the day, shelves always appear to have decent stock - unless the special is great then its cleared out quickly.”

“I phoned Mill street on Saturday morning,a woman from Seafood put me through to meat department. I had 5 chicken carcuses saved for me. Wen I arrived Rod was the person who went and got the chicken carcuses. All staff on phone were great,Rob was very helpful,got me a trolly, Great communication skills A very good experience. “I recently visited Woolworths Chartwell in Hamilton, NZ, and I was thoroughly impressed by their bakery section. As someone who enjoys fresh bread and baked goods, the moment I stepped into the bakery area, I was greeted by the irresistible scent of freshly baked bread and pastries. The entire section was inviting, and the layout made it easy to browse and pick out exactly what I wanted. The bakery was exceptionally well-organized, with a wide variety of items displayed neatly. There was an impressive selection of freshly baked bread, ranging from traditional loaves to specialty options like sourdough and multigrain. The breads were beautifully arranged, and it was clear they had just come out of the oven, with a perfect golden-brown color and soft texture. The variety made it easy to find something for every taste, and everything looked incredibly fresh. The pastries were equally impressive, with an assortment of sweet and savory options. The shelves were stocked with everything from buttery croissants to fruit-filled Danishes, and each item was carefully placed to make it easy to choose. I particularly appreciated how the bakery section was not cluttered, and the items were placed in a way that highlighted their freshness. The labels were also clear, making it simple to find what I was looking for. The staff in the bakery were friendly and approachable, offering assistance and helping me with some product recommendations. The overall atmosphere was clean, and the area was well-maintained, which made shopping for baked goods an enjoyable experience. Overall, my visit to Woolworths Chartwell was fantastic. “A spontaneous stop on the way to Chartwell & my friend & I were glad we did. A cafe that is airy, clean & spacious..nothing over the top fancy, just simple, comfortable & peaceful. We shared: egg sandwiches, sausage roll & apple strudel. Well..the tastiest egg sandwich in a long time, & had to be the best strudel I've ever had..yum & only slightly heated perfectly. My friend enjoyed her coffee & I changed my mind at last moment from coffee to try an iced chocolate..it was delicious with good amount of chocolate..nice chocolate too. I will be back when on next trip from Whangarei to visit family..for sure. O..I also brought a macadamia toffee n chocolate cookie which I ate on travel home that evening! Yum. Lovely staff! Footnote: I wrote the above over 2 years ago..I still pop here every time I'm in Hamilton..their Ginger crunch is the best..but not to eat straight away-let it come to room temperature soo best to takeaway..I suggest. Haven't had macadamia toffee crunch for ages though..I just remembered about this treat after reading the review I first wrote.”

“We meet up here with friends from school days and early working life a few times a year. It's always a pleasure as the staff are very welcoming and friendly and the food is lovely. There is some outdoor seating and lots of inside seating. You can order off the menu or have cabinet food, or have just a coffee/drink if that's what you're wanting. I lived in Te Aroha West for about 8 years till I was 9, and remember the old shops etc so it's a trip down memory lane for me. Some pics of various meals attached.”

“I've been to a lot of Hell Pizzas over the North Island, and these guys are my favourite. Friendly service and brilliant pizzas. I often order plant based creator pizzas, and I can be very particular about my toppings e.g. double portions of mushrooms, half of the pizza having one type of sauce and certain toppings, the other half sometimes being very different. The attention to detail these guys have is impressive, they always get it perfect. Very fair portions, great accuracy with orders, and really nice customer service. These guys set the benchmark for all other Hell Pizza stores around.”
