I'm from Auckland and visited this bar on Saturday 30th of August 2025 the locals were friendly and the bar staff were awesome we ended up staying there for a few hours. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food but great atmosphere. Alcohol was way cheaper than Auckland tall boys $10

Great atmosphere. Great priced drinks. Large smoking area was a huge plus.
I just loved the locals, travelled there to play 8 ball. Right by the river that was totally mind boggling. Thank you locals.
