Absolutely disgusting!! I found something in my pork bun, the pork belly on rice is yuck!! And it’s over priced for it to taste like this
Prices vs food are crazy. Paid around 30$ for the smallest shumai that honestly tasted like the frozen ones you get from the supermarket. Steam buns were also tiny and had an odd texture and tasted average. As for the dumplings......also average. They weren't bad but weren't good either. Again tasted like supermarket frozen food. On the plus side the dude that served me was polite and helpful. The atmosphere of the dine in area was pretty cool too. All in all your better off going to the night markets.
Hidden gem on hood street. The best prices in town for everything on there menu . Dumplings for $14 for 12 plenty for everyone delicious. There pork belly noodle soup $16 is so good. I go 2-3 times a week i cant help it. Perfect winter food.
They serve nice pan fried dumplings. There are sauces and toppings, you can help yourself too.
Probably the worst dumpling restaurant I have been too, dont even bother after a night out. No basic customer service at all, staff (think it was the owner) will forget your simple order depsite writing it down. They probably rely on drunk people to not know the difference. Dont bother with the pankcakes, which is mostly burnt flour and a sprinkle of cut 1 spring onion. The dumplings had the tiniest meat portion inside. Compared to grey street dumpling house, this place is lack lustre and no effort at all. This restaurant doesn't deserve 1 star at all.
Got it after a night of drinking. Dumplings were to die for. Probably wouldn't get the pork burger again but definitely the dumplings
THE BEST HANDS DOWN. FRESH. HOT. SO GOOD. Spicy fish ball soup,I RECOMMEND the yummiest prawn shima and hargow dumplings. cooked to perfection, not greasy or soggy. Nana and Nancy were so lovely. Asking if we loved the food and suggesting lots. Small and intimate, not very big, with no restrooms. A definition of authentic Cantonese dumplings. I felt like I was back in Hong Kong.
