“Friendly staff, huge variety, lovely meal, so reasonable. We had the scotch filet delicious and cooked believe it or not the way I liked, medium rare. Beautiful garlic butter. We even had raw fish for entre, what a surprise. So sole so nice. Also had great coffee. We were too full to have our strawberry sponge cake so took it home. But so sure it would be yum. Go try it, they also do roast meals.”

Poppy's offers great vegan options, so naturally I was compelled to order the most generous and mouth-watering meal I could choose. We did not wait long to be served, but what a gift it is that the tables are equipped with games. These are probably intended for children, but I am a shameless millenial and playing Connect 4 while waiting was nostalgic and tremendously fun! When the food did arrive, it was hot and fresh and beautifully presented. I felt completely satisfied after my meal. The cafe setup is rustic, comforting, and charming; the decor shows a lot of heart. I'd definitely recommend this place and hope to visit again soon.”
