Seafood chowder was so SO good,as were the sweetcorn fritters with bacon avocado Chilli sauce and sour cream BUT there new GF cheesecake was exceptional. We went 4 plants but loaded up with great grub. Will definitely b back
I tried eating my chicken filo without complaining but when my mother mentioned how bland the food was I knew I had to leave a review. I seriously doubt whoever made this food actually tasted it. It had about the same level of flavour as butter on white bread.
The seafood chowder here is amazing, and the hot chocolate is just perfect. I really enjoyed the garden view—great food paired with a lovely setting makes for such a relaxing experience. The service was also fantastic. I’ll definitely be back!
The warm and calming atmosphere put my usually grumpy baby straight to sleep ! It was such a relief to be able to enjoy a yummy hot chocolate and delicious corn fritters in peace. The woman who served me was also so friendly and easily made small talk which made me feel very comfortable eating here
I ordered a pumpkin soup $12 plus 2 garlic toast $2.90. It come out fast & was pipping hot! I think it was a packet soup. Theres bibles around for light reading? Thanks
The cabinet food looked appealing...but that's where it ends. Chicken mushroom pie arrived lukewarm. Reheating requested. It arrived back lukewarmish. Fearing the worst, it was set aside. Tasted the coffee - hot but burnt. Mentioned to barista who looked at me strangely. I backtracked. I felt like I was from Auckland! Date & orange scone (my fave) looked perfect but too heavy on the baking powder. A couple of Pascals jet planes couldn't get rid of the bitter taste! I'm sure we won't be missed if we never return.
Very comfortable and spacious seating indoor and out. Outdoor area looks out to Palmers plants for sale and is genuinely lovely. Reasonable pricing. Coffee was nice, carrot cake was ok. Will definitely be coming back and getting something from the savoury menu which smelled amazing.
Another cool Sunday morning. The sun is still rising and the temperature is perfect. The birds are entertaining us in their garden surroundings, chirping for our attention hoping for a small morsel. Coffee and cake, Abiter of taste. The Staff offer a warm welcome and a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend.
