“Ok, this place is just heaven on earth. I can't recommend it enough. The food is divine. I mean heavenly off the charts delicious. They have a seafood chowder to rave and remember. All ingredients were fresh and the seasoning just perfect. The place is simple and doesn't look like much, but it really is a must for the soul. Great selection of wines for a cafe. We had the beef casserole and spicy prawns with some house cocktails and even the chicken sandwich was to die for. Sabina is the most delightful and charismatic woman. Her warm and caring hospitality were truly memorable. We sure hope she comes visit us to Mexico. She freely and thoughtfully shared her advice about travelling around NZ. Honestly, we would dine here if we lived in NZ. The flavours will live in our memory forever. Thank you for a great experience”

After my husband came home with our order, we realised we were missing a few things. I called up to explain and Kaye was so apologetic and helpful! So much so that she personally delivered our missing items to our home after her shift finished! Just incredible!”

“Ordered a Sir George and a Vege Supreme pizza . Staff were friendly and accommodating. Pizzas were ready within 10 minutes on a Friday night. Got it to takeaway as I find the atmosphere to be crowded with everyone else in there little high eatery . Pizzas are great with a perfect base and that authentic wood fired taste . Flavours on pizza are perfect. Can highly recommend getting the crust dipping sauces to accompany the pizza either by dipping the crust or putting directly onto the pizza . Highly recommend going along and trying .”

“Grabbed the 2 slices & a soda for $14 on Saturday just to switch up what I usually get at Riverside. I was prepared to be unimpressed, but had the opposite experience. The 2 slices of pepperoni I ordered were comically huge and utterly delicious: spicy, cheesy, rich -- not sweet sauce -- flavoured with herbs and spices. Very good value, imo.”

“Had the most amazing 21st Birthday dinner here. We come here all the time for dinner but the service tonight was absolutely amazing! Daragh was the lovely gentleman that took care of us most of the night, he had wonderful service and such a warm presence which made it way more enjoyable! And we had Ayung taking care of us the rest of the night and she was amazing on checking up on us and making sure we were happy all the way up to the end. “My first visit for Teppanyaki. We tried the all you can eat option. Though this menu is more simple foods in an all you can eat style, it didn't disappoint. The entree board with sushi and chicken was particularly enjoyable given the fresh and crisp contrasts. They have a Japanese version of an espresso martini with Baileys which was very good.”
