Great layout. Plenty of parking - even got huge vehicles (I have a giant 9 seater Vw van) the supermarket it's self is small, but has everything you might need. Fresh produce and friendly staff. They are ridiculously expensive though. I would visit pack and save or Woolworths over new world - simply because they are more affordable
Just got lotto and the young lady that served me was so welcoming and friendly.
Don't bring bags to use for carrying groceries, you'll be forced to leave them at the front of the store. Unless you're over 40, they let them do whatever.
Lovely helpful and friendly staff. There's a saying that the workers attitude reflects the type of person the manager or owner of a shop is like. I haven't met the owner of this shop yet, but if they are anything like the staff, the owner must be a wonderful person indeed. Regards Simon
The staff in charge at the self check out is very unfriendly and lack customer care. I went to walk my dog in Kaiapoi and thought of just picking some few items from New World. The staff already saw my check out station is red and seeking approval from her and she was free but made me wait anyway and asked for my ID. I was hoping she would use a bit of common sense to people like me who are obviously very old enough. No eye contact from her and just very poor judgment and service. I suggest more training for her especially because she is facing and dealing with customers. Thank you.
My local supermarket for a few months. It's not the largest New World but is nicely stocked. Good selection of fruit and vegetables. Meat selection is ok. Has a good wine and beer area. Very clean and tidy.
We did our gymnastics club fund raiser BBQ here ..... they supplied the BBQ and gas and we bought all the other items that were needed as well. Very nice new super market wide aisles and lots of food on the shelves. Nice meat options to choose in the chilled counter to choose from. We sold lots of gourmet sausages ... hog n honey, version and red wine, lamb feta pumpkin chives ..... yummy
