The Kings Barber - Barbers in St Albans Christchurch is a hair salon in Christchurch. The team focuses on men’s cuts. Guests value the friendly service.
“We went for lunch for my sister-in-law's birthday. My daughter and I ordered specific dishes(as she doesn't eat all things, like a lot of teens), and has to be careful of peanuts. She had chicken stirfy and I had a pork and noodle dish. The others ordered a variety of starters and main dishes to share. Everyone loved the food. So tasty, the flavours are fantastic and good portions, we managed to take left overs for my partner to try. Would definitely go back. Thank you for a wonderful meal.”
“Great service by the whole team! Always fair prices and high quality products!”

“Loved heading there today on a drizzly day following a three day tramp at Island Hills Station. Great variety of pools of different temperatures, and although extremely busy, there was plenty of space for everyone. Pretty expensive entry prices, so have to go for a whole day if taking the family. Discounted entry price for AA members.”
“Good place for scenic views over Christchurch. There's a beautiful building which houses a cafe at the end of the walk. Toilet facilities are available. Plenty of street parking is also available. Google will most likely say "you have arrived" right in the middle of nowhere. You will see steps that you can take to reach the viewpoint (5 minutes), alternatively, you can keep driving a bit further until you see the entrance to the track.”
“Absolutely excellent food at good prices! The inside of the cafe is not super cute but it's worth it.”

“Five-star service! The atmosphere here is perfect—very relaxing with cozy music and a nice interior. I was particularly impressed by Lois Law. She went above and beyond by helping me secure a booking early and provided excellent recommendations. Her friendly and kind nature really stands out. I’ll be returning soon for sure!”
“The food here was so delicious I had to come back twice during my stay in Christchurch. I ordered the Grill Beef on Rice, along with a Chicken Teriyaki Bun (50 cents of the sales of the buns goes to the Arts Centre). I left feeling nice and full. Give this place a visit if you're the mood for some good Asian food at a good price.”

The kitchen at A Rolling Stone takes a classic fish‑and‑chips path and lets the food speak. Fillets arrive fresh and the fry keeps clean. A family‑friendly feel comes through naturally. Buns hold well and patties come juicy.

“Great park with scenic views Toilets and rubbish bins on hand The park is not fenced but is on a quiet road”
“Go at night it is the amazing entrance to Christchurch botanical gardens. If you come during the sunny hours the water fountain will sparkle in all the different colours of the rainbow. Unfortunately no one throws money in there so no extra income for me. Water pressure also not strong enough to take a coherent shower and I got soap in my eye.”
“Beautiful place for a lovely walk and relaxed picnic. There is a great playground for the kids. There are Ducks & Eels!”
“Went to selwyn sounds with a group of friends and 10 thousand others. Great afternoon”
“Twice we came and twice it was amazing! Serving halal asian food. We ate the tom yum noodles, mee goreng with chicken and sticky rice with fried chicken for lunch and dinner. Definitely recommend the Thai milk tea though, it's really special. Boss lady was so sweet, she gave out brownies to all the diners for free since it was Mother's day. Amazing service and food, definitely worth the stop in Christchurch.”
“Very flavoursome well presented and friendly service. Table for 8 and all enjoyed their meals. Highly recommended, easy parking. Will return for sure.”
