Incredible Szechuan food! Very authentic taste and everything we ordered was delicious, loved the fried squid especially. Great service and a nice atmosphere. If you’re visiting Christchurch and want quality Chinese food, this is the spot.
I had the pleasure of dining at Little Spicy for the first time, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. The dishes were exceptional, starting with the Spicy Beef in Tofu Pot, which balanced bold flavors and rich spices perfectly. The White Pepper Tender Lamb Soup with Mushrooms was another highlight, offering a delicate peppery warmth that complemented the tender lamb beautifully. The Chili Bean Paste Fish Fillets with Tofu provided the ideal level of spice, while the seasonal garlic vegetables were a refreshing and flavorful accompaniment. The service was exemplary—our server was both friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Very friendly and hospitable staff served with high quality food. Must try the sweet chilli beef and the mustard golden shrimp ball (especially if you’re not a fan of spicy)

Used to always come here so often but was scammed by their false advertising and was very disappointed with how we were treated in return. The menu had pearls in their bubble tea and it’s called “bubble tea” for a reason,, pearls where ? Their chongqing xiao mian is OK. Recently they are adding more and more oil to it which makes it inedible. If they chilled out w the oil, it’d be so much nicer. I have had many different chong qing xiao mian and the flavour here is good but as I said, too much oil even if the dish is supposed to have oil.
