Got lost the other day and ended up here. Awesome spot! Would recommend to people between the height range of 168-185cm for optimal performance. Cool!

visited for a sunday walk, great spot, bit of athleticism required due to up and downhill bits.

Park at the carpark and head down the track at the carpark. Go through the gate and keep right at the fork. Incredible views from the top. You'll need to scramble hard up the rocks, be prepared! The view from the top is incredible, but it is very exposed so be careful if it's windy.

Easy access from the road to the rock with some nice scrambling areas to explore. A number of nice climbs available, mostly trad with the occasional bolt

Beautiful views, very exposed if windy so abit of care required. Short walk from the car park with a bit of climbing, well worth it for sunrise or sunset especially.

Excellent views from this rock. Great photo opportunity unfortunately I forgot my camera/phone. Interesting to walk this when on the port hills as it takes very little time. The last part of the climb to the is steep and not simple but well worth it. The last time we did this it was very windy but the skies were very clear and you could see for miles, both North past Rangiora, South well past Lake Elesmere and West to the Southern Alps.
