The food was exceptional and the service was amazing. Presley was attentive, confident, and really knew her stuff. Caleb’s service is also outstanding — he always remembers us, is consistently friendly, and is a big part of the reason we keep coming back.

We spotted them on first table and we're looking for somewhere for lunch with the kids. What a find CBK is! Calamari is tender and juicy, bone marrow toast was incredible, both entree portions were generous. The seafood hot stone has a great selection and the chicken hot stone was flavourful. I couldn't resist the Dubai chocolate dessert, but it wasn't quite for me texturally. A bit like weetbix slice before you set it if that makes sense? That might just be a me thing though. Kids meals had a great variety and came out quickly. Waitress was super friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for us. Will be back to this one for sure!
Outstanding service and a fantastic meal! We dropped in for an impromptu dinner and were thoroughly impressed. The drinks were refreshing, the food arrived promptly and was full of flavour, and Presley, our server, provided exceptional service. The whole experience was seamless and genuinely enjoyable — we couldn’t have asked for more.
Celebrated my daughter’s 18th Birthday. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was great, we all ate at the same time for a table of 10. The staff were polite and professional and were always close by. The table was cleared in a timely manner so it was always kept clean. We provided a cake and a staff member delivered it to the table with candles lit, that made everything even more special for my daughter’s birthday. We have been to CBK Kaiapoi a few times and will definitely dine again. Overall great experience. Highly recommend.
Dining experience was ruined due to the owner treating his staff horrifically at the table next to us after we had finished dinner on Friday night. He was talking very bullish and intimidatingly to two young female waitresses (who did a fantastic job waiting on our table the whole evening). Would not return because of this maltreatment of staff.
Had a meal at CBK wanted some good heartsome pub grub a burger and a steak the steak was ok but the chicken burger was not that great, chicken was burnt, the supposed tomato looked like they had scalped it, and the serving of fries was a child's portion
I had a birthday voucher for CBK which was an unexpected surprise in my email so I went out for lunch with a friend. The menu is definitely extensive but I was excited about the avocado smash that I ordered. Unfortunately there was not the amount of avocado I had expected and my bread was only very lightly toasted. My friend enjoyed her dish but I think I’d stick to the stone grill next time.
Excellent all round. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. The menu had enough variety to keep everyone happy. Good size portions. Indoor and outdoor seating. All at ground level, so is all wheelchair accessible. Plenty of parking
