    We booked 2 units, given #3 and #4 Looked great, tidy & clean. Unfortunately beds uncomfortable and couldn't get heat pumps to work in either unit. Damned near froze to death!!! Had tried 6 times in total to get hold of someone for help with the heaters but no response. Manager had apparently had a fall, no-one around to help him up off the floor until staff arrived for shift Sunday morning. Very sad for him BUT....... No one to be found on checking out at 10am so unable to request a discount. Will not be recommending.

    Stayed here before flying out of Christchurch. Uber is around 50nzd to airport. Owner was amazing and loved some banter! Very accommodating and even though he had over bookings (because of third party booking apps) he made it work for us. Rooms are simple but have everything you need. There is a bar at the front and the staff are lovely there too. True kiwi hospitality! Chur!

    Lovely and clean. Manager is a hoot with his jokes. We enjoyed our stay there and it was great with the Tavern in front for good meals as well.

    I live here. Wayne is great and a really nice person. The owners however has let this place go. This place is in need of a serious upgrade and be warned. There is no difference or gauge between hot water and absolutely boiling water in any of the hand basins. I've very nearly burned myself on the taps A lot. Good value for money at this place though. And really well kept clean.
