   We are regular visitors to the restaurant and it absolutely lives up to the hype! From start to finish, the experience is always fantastic. The restaurant itself is warm and inviting, with a lovely, authentic atmosphere. The flavors are so fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. The food is rich and creamy with just the right amount of spice, and traditional Thai dishes are tangy, sweet, and packed with flavor. The service is always top-notch. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Portion sizes are very generous, offering great value for money. Without a doubt, this is the best Thai food in North Canterbury. We can't wait to come back and work our way through the rest of the menu. Highly, highly recommend! A must-visit!

   Oh wow!!! That was my first time there. We just got take aways but there's a nice vibe in the restaurant. Our highlights were the slow cooked ribs, the duck curry, and the pad si ew. They were all so yum. We also had the pad Thai which was really good but the other dishes just caught our attention a little more. I'd go back in an instant. Well done team.

   I ordered a large selection of menu items from Kanniga Thai for a family celebration and was thrilled with the compliments received from the many seasoned Thai food connoisseurs in attendance. Not only did the food exceed expectations, the restaurant went above and beyond in assisting me with my order. When in Kaiapoi this restaurant is at the top of my list.

   This is a very good local Indian restaurant which I often recommend to others. The food is always excellent however during a recent visit the service was poor due to a lack of experienced wait staff. It was just the owner and a new young staff member who seemed to lack training of even basic duties. Hopefully your level of service can be improved so that the overall dining experience is enjoyable.

   After close to two weeks of travelling in NZ, I really missed spicy food, so I was very happy to find this restaurant. We ordered the tom yam seafood soup ($17), stir-fried basil chili pork ($21.50), roasted duck red curry ($21.50) and garlic stir-fried vegetables ($18.50). “Thai Hot” is a legit level of spiciness here, and anything with that level of spiciness reminds me of the Thai food I have at home and in Thailand. The food here is fresh and delicious and tastes authentically Thai, and service is great as well.
