   Good sports ground, with buildings, trees and native grasses. Plenty of parking. A team was practicing while we were there. Took our dog for a walk around the wetland bordering the car parks. About 200 metres into the walk an adult hare walked across our path. The dog thought all his Christmasses had arrived at once, as I was dragged in hot pursuit, until I gained a measure of control again, just before ending up in the little creek. The hare, much to dog's chagrin, disappeared into the surrounding paddocks. We continued walking with enthusiasm. It is a lovely rural setting, and from the look of it a very busy sports ground very close to Kaiapoi and Silverstream. It seems to have good facilities, disability parking and access. A good community asset.
