Had a bit of a walk from the bus stop near Foremans Rd to Dawes itself, and would have had to get a taxi from Dawes back to our place in Beckenham. “We went for lunch for my sister-in-law's birthday. My daughter and I ordered specific dishes(as she doesn't eat all things, like a lot of teens), and has to be careful of peanuts. She had chicken stirfy and I had a pork and noodle dish. The others ordered a variety of starters and main dishes to share. Everyone loved the food. So tasty, the flavours are fantastic and good portions, we managed to take left overs for my partner to try. Would definitely go back. Thank you for a wonderful meal.”

“I have never eaten at this place as I usually order their food on Uber eats. Today i made my order but they had forgotten my drink. I rang and spoke to the manager asking for a refund. He was unable to do this and said he would get back to me about what he would do. Within the next 20 mins, he had delivered my drink himself and gave me another one for free. I just want to say how thankful I am to him and his staff for being so kind as to go out of his way to personally deliver the drinks himself. Not to mention, the food is amazing! “Delightful little Cafe on good street. I was quite surprised to find a Cafe in this quiet area tucked away from the main street! The iced coffee was delicious, the breakfast we had was good portioned and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the sausage and bacon as they were cooked perfectly whereas some places quite often burn these or are quite oily. The lady was very nice and served us with a smile!”

“I totally endorse the positive comments. Sarah (or SJ as I now know her) may well be the best barista I have chanced upon. She simply makes the best coffee without question. Extremely efficient. Knows my name, knows my car, knows my coffee of choice. She knows where I am in the line. I don't have to order, I simply sit down, converse with her and it's all done. It's like being Norm on Cheers (for those of that dynasty). Absolutely brilliant. I travel from Lincoln just for the friendly face, fantastic service and good banter. Great variety of pools of different temperatures, and although extremely busy, there was plenty of space for everyone. Pretty expensive entry prices, so have to go for a whole day if taking the family. Discounted entry price for AA members.”
