Went for a drink after Parkrun. We are from out of town. Loved the atmosphere. It was a nice sunny day. Loved the design of the tables, with benches, so a few people can sit and even if you don't know each other. We picked up some free coffee grinds for our strawberries and a container for storage, which was a kind gesture on their part. We didn't eat, but the toasted sandwiches looked devine and there was other items on the menu. The variety of icecream flavors looked good. The surrounds are beautiful in Halswell Quarry so plenty to do.
Great coffee, great toasties, nice bike ride to quarry and back. Will be back. Well done team.
Dont be fooled by the XL coffee cup they only fill it about 2/3 the way with liquid. Response to your response: I don't owe you anything. This review will have far more impact than my complaining to your server. Fix your scammy cups, thanks.
Ordered a hot chocolate and was able to drink it straight away which was great because I don't like to start the day with a burning tongue.
Love getting a coffee and toasted sandwich after walking the dog however, being coeliac, got to pick which day I can have the sandwich. Depending on who you get they can be wonderfully accomodating and then others it’s just a flat out no!! My review is based on the accomodating staff.
Great little spot for a coffee and a tasty snack. We always grab a coffee from here before we go for a walk around the quarry. There are always heaps of friendly folks with their dogs to pat too. :)
Oh my god where do I even start. I got the best ever toasted sandwich with caramelized onions. The best service with a smile an a great chat. Also the cutest dog treats. I highly recommend this place and the lovely lady that made my coffee and gave me a smile to end my day with keep up the good work love
Heard from numerous people that the quarry burger was the definitive go to., with that being said I tried one yesterday along with a beautiful walk around the quarry., and I can definitely say it was 10 out of 10! Could not fault it at all., Bloody delicious and would highly recommend you get one in yah! Cheers guys Enjoy~
