“Cotswold Preschool & Nursery has a wonderful vibe, quietly tucked away from the busy world we all live in today. There is plenty of safe parking. I have 3 children, 8,5&3 years old, my two boys absolutely loved going there & my daughter (3) enjoys it very much & gets excited to go. All of the children love the teachers they are very caring,they do amazing job on the childrens profile books,work as a team,have fantastic stations of creativity set up each day never the same old boring things to do.The children loved the space of inside & outside.They help the children 'get ready for school'. The team of teachers are all very supportive to me as a parent, dealing with different stages the children have gone through. The cost (cheap) of sending my children here over the years has been amazing.This community base centre, is a real asset for the community! I would highly recommend Cotswold Preschool”

“We are really happy with Annabel's 4yr old Kindergarten. Our daughter is so keen to go each day and the staff are lovely and caring. There are always lots of activities available for the children.”

“Thursday was Brooklyn and Bella last preschool day. Can't believe they're already 5 and off to primary school tomorrow. Brooklyn and Bella have learnt so much from their time at Ilam ELC. Bella learn to be more confident and grew to care and look after other children especially the young ones. Brooklyn have grew out of his shell, grew more confident in relating to others and more confident in physical activities. We like to thank you again and we will miss everyone. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“This is a great kindy. It has a huge outdoor area including a large covered area which is good for when it's raining. There are so many different activities set up to keep the kids busy. My daughter loves coming home with crafts she's made using the glue gun! The hours are perfect for my 4year old as she doesn't come home too tired and over stimulated!”

“We have been part of the Rosy Cheeks family for over 8 years now. Our oldest daughter and son have moved onto primary school in that time and we felt they were both fully prepared and confident to make the transition after their time at Rosy Cheeks. Our youngest daughter, currently at Rosy Cheeks, also loves her time there. As a parent, the communication from head teacher Kathy is fantastic, and exceeded our expectations during the turmoil and challenges faced over the last 8 years. The daily contact,with each of the amazing teaching team (even when it is a brief word at drop-off or pick up) is very much valued. Rosy Cheeks has definitely met the needs for all 3 of our children and our family, and I would unreservedly recommend it as an Early Learning Centre.”

“Highly recommend Little Explorers Preschool. Our child loves it there. Fantastic facility, amazing outdoor space for the children to play which is what attracted us here originally. Great staff and a very community oriented small center.”

“Busy Bees is a wonderful family friendly environment for your child to grow and develop. We have enjoyed the experience very much and have enrolled our second child. He is a very busy almost 2 year old and he loves it. He runs into the Center and is always greeted by the smiling friendly staff. They do not hesitate to go above and beyond if you have a problem. They are very solution focused and deliver a high standard of care and education. Each child has a primary care giver but all of the staff deliver cuddles smiles and love as required. We get a summary of the day on pick up and regular updates via Story Park complete with photos. I recommend Busy Bees as the place to be and thank them for the care and love they have shown our family.”

“North Beach Playcentre has been such an amazing place for our whanau. My children have so much fun and have become confident, capable and ready to face challenges. I love the sense of community and having them in an Early childhood education where I am actively involved in their learning. We also love that all three of our children could play together in the same space.”

“Had to go to Christchurch a day early than planned. And booked here last minute. The service and communication was amazing. The rooms is fantastic. The bathroom and shower great. Beds are so comfortable and a great night sleep. Would definitely recommend booking here”

“I can’t recommend Moana enough! I call her the baby whisperer as my son warmed to her instantly and just adores her. She has very low ratios in her care so your child gets undivided attention for the majority of their time with her. She goes above and beyond for your whanau and uses a lot of Te reo Māori in conversation with your little one which is amazing if that’s something you’re wanting. Moana is fantastic at caring, entertaining and looking after children as she is patient and kind but most importantly it’s her passion! Your child will feel super comfortable in her presence and in a home based setting. I wouldn’t trust anyone more than I trust Moana to look after my child. 10/10 Moana you’re a rockstar!”

“The Waimakariri parks are becoming well known for the facilities and the care the local council workers take of them. Mowed lawns, clear walking tracks, rubbish bins, seating and entertainment for both young and old folks alike. We are lucky in the uses our council puts these otherwise empty spaces to.. we have dog parks, walking trails,aquatic park, softball diamonds , sports fields, a food forest, a freedom camping area, and so many other good uses for the locals. I would love to see them really splash out and put in a water play splash pad for the kids.”

“A nice little reserve - there's not a huge space to walk around, but it is a good quiet spot to go to think. And there's the bench across the road down the cycle path if you want to sit somewhere.”

“We had our 3 children attend this kindy, it was and still is their favourite place. The staff are absolutely wonderful and they are the highlight of this kindergarten. Their care and attention to every family is so special. The teachers have incredible knowledge and experience and they form such a lovely bond with the kids. The oldschool feel of the kindy is nostalgic to our childhood with activities and toys we loved as kids too. They always have new and exciting stations setup for the kids to explore. The outside space is ideal, a large sandpit, mud kitchen and woodwork table were amongst our children’s favs. The new playground is coming along so well and we look forward to seeing the progress. Highly recommend this kindergarten!”

“Nice simple play grounds with appropriate excercise equipment with everything that is required to do a basic workout or more. It is located in Woolston Park which is a nice open space to do other sports and excercise. It's a nice park as not many people use it but has all the good facilities and are well maintained.”
