“A great little children's play area. Safely fenced with a variety of play equipment, including a fantastic curving slide - I know cos grandad had to have a good too. Our 2½ year old granddaughter loves going there but older children would enjoy it too.”

“A nice park not far from Northlands Mall. Two small main entrances that are quite narrow making you believe its just a small park. However they lead out to a large open grass area. Its also nice that there are quite a lot of trees surrounding the open grass area, more so than most parks. There is a medium sized playground located near one of the entrances on St James Ave. Overall a very nice park.”

“Our child has been going to sweet pea for almost a year and has thrived. The teachers are really hands on and always available to discuss their progress and how the day has been. Each day there and new and exciting activities set up and the environment is perfect for busy toddlers and has a really nice homey feeling. Having an excellent chef on staff means that the kids are getting healthy and varied food. We have loved our experience with all of the staff and are excited for our second child to be starting in a couple of months.”

“Our daughter attended Kindercare-Addington for over a year, starting in the Tui Room and later moving to the Pukeko Room. We couldn’t be happier with the care and support she received. The teachers have been so accommodating to her needs — from helping with potty training to teaching her songs, and basic facts that toddler should know. One thing that really impressed us is how well they encouraged healthy eating habits. Our daughter now enjoys vegetables and fruits that many parents struggle to get their kids to eat — like carrots, cucumber, capsicum, and even onions! From the very first day I visited, I noticed how well the school maintains cleanliness and hygiene, which was a major deciding factor in enrolling my toddler. It’s been wonderful to watch her grow in confidence, skills, and healthy habits during her time here. Sadly, we have to move her to another preschool due to our recent house move, but we are very grateful for everything that Kindercare-Addington has done for our daughter. Highly recommended!”

The teachers are outstanding- so caring, fun & organised, and have been so amazing helping my daughter transition to each room. They have been so kind and nurturing towards him. They really get to know each individual child and their whanau. The manager ( Nesa), always welcome you with a beautiful smile, is quickly to sort anything requested and make everything work well with her organisation and warm attitude. Each room my son have been I fell in love with the teachers and the way they work with the kids, they are respectable, fun, kind and I appreciate the passion they have to spend time, to be around the kids. I just love them! If you are looking for a childcare where things work well and your child is happy I highly recommend House Of Wonder .”

“Ideal for parties and family activities .. large grassed area fenced off at the back of small, uncluttered hall. Kitchen, chairs, and tables available. Can hire for the day.”

“Really nice walk up to the top of the adventure park! Can be quite steep at places especially as you head towards the end. We visited just after the park had re-opened from the recent Port Hill fires and we stopped off to look at the full extent of the damage caused by the fires earlier in the year. No cafe or anything like that to be found at the top but great views that rival the views from the Christchurch Gondola. You're even able to have a free ride down on the chairlift if you've managed to make it up to the top!”
