“From the moment we first engaged with Busy Bees Woodend, I sensed it was a special place. When my family and I visited, we felt embraced and believed we had discovered a place that honored our culture and was more than just a typical daycare. The transition for our 29-month-old was handled with care and respect. He speaks our native language and does not yet understand English. I felt that the team respected our concerns and welcomed us warmly from the outset. One thing that also caught my attention was that, from the very first days, all the teachers would come to talk to me about my son, about our culture, and I noticed that they were genuinely interested in him and happy to help in the process. Now, we are delighted that he is joyful each day upon arrival, forging relationships, and developing skills in a nurturing and respectful environment. I cannot express enough gratitude to the entire Busy Bees Woodend team.”

You can tell the teachers love their jobs- our son has progressed rapidly over the year that he has been here. It is the highlight of his day. “This is the best Kindy ever. The staff are welcoming and have been at the centre a long time and have a great deal of knowledge and support in place for all child and parents. All 3 of my children have attended here, one there now and my first child over 8 years ago. The centre has an amazing outdoor area and great clean spaces inside. A+++!!!!”

“Lovely teachers. I love how they individually pay attention to the children's need and write a review and feeback in Educa so us parents can see the progress of what they are learning in school. I often get educated too on how they build up the learning through playing. My daughter loves her kindee so much. It's never a dull moment for her. She often feels sad when it is not her school day, she very much enjoys her kindee. Teachers are so approachable and loving and good values are very much imparted to my daughter. Would rate them higher than 5 star.”

It’s such a well run kindy with the very best and supportive teachers you could ask for. I always drive away content knowing my boys are being so well cared for and learning new things every day. “When I moved from afternoon to morning kindergarten, the kindergarten also moved from Pleasant Point to its new home in Bridge Street. So I was a first-day pupil at this establishment. I am guessing it must have been January 1957.”

Bella learn to be more confident and grew to care and look after other children especially the young ones. “The education and care for our two children are Kindercare Bishopdale has been outstanding. They have both felt loved, secure, safe and have learned so much across the board. All teachers and staff are incredibly friendly and have always been strong on communication and creating relationships with not just the children, but us as parents as well. Nutritious hot meals are a great bonus (how lucky are the kids getting fresh fruit crumble out of the oven?!)”
