“Went on a Saturday evening about 7pm, was somewhat quiet. Staff were friendly and table cleared of empty plates fairly quickly. Food was delicious, and the coffee/hot chocolate drinks were very flavoursome and at a decent temperature.”

“A good bakery has NO food at the end of the day, good food, friendly staff and a real busy bakery. A great place to grab a feed on the run or sit down and relax. Yes this place gets frantically busy, but 4 cashier places helps move you along. But relax and select well or try something knew.”

“CAFE KUDOS - 235 Annex Rd. Just had an amazing meal at Kudos. It was delicious & generous serving. I couldnt eat it all. Amazing latte too. We used first table but worth the full price. Pleasant place witb a nice outdoor sitting area.”

Parking around the back which ideal for Christchurch. On a busy road so can be a little loud with traffic otherwise it's a 5 star place”

“Calling all long black coffee lovers. I have never been able to get a long black coffee that wasn’t watery or burned. I usually don’t bother ordering coffee when out because of this. I have just had the most beautiful coffee at this cafe and the service was cheerful, environment happy and calm. Too good what a great team food, drinks and service. If your coffee ☕️ is this good next time you may not get rid of me.”

“I come in to Columbus Coffee Ferrymead with my daughter usually once a fortnight sometimes bringing in other family or friends to have a meal. Been coming here for a over a year. The staff are very friendly and happy towards us. The meals are yummy and even more delicious now under the new owners/chef. Love the dairy free frappe's. Have also come here to have meals for our birthday's and anniversaries. We definitely feel welcomed here and will continue coming back.”

“Honestly don’t know what all the people on here are talking about, we went in tonight for dinner and had the most amazing service. Our waiter Eddie was absolutely amazing, great energy, playful jokes and some amazing service. He made the entire experience enjoyable. On top of that the cocktails and food were 10/10 I got the steak burger and it was huge!!!!! I was struggling to fit it all in my mouth but it was worth it cause the flavours were just phenomenal. Definitely recommend popping in here and having dinner it’s a great spot”

He was able to get a table for us when so so busy! He is so friendly, chatty and quick service, we enjoy talking to him. He is outstanding and very quickly to clear and wipe tables. “Fast and friendly service. Piping hot and tasty chai lattes (have had them good takeaway too, my only comment is that I wish the 'large' takeaways were bigger as they are pretty small) . Lively atmosphere and lovely decor with all the different pictures/paintings hung on the walls. Great selection of cabinet food. We had a custard muffin, it was delish. All in all a great new cafe on the block.”

“I stopped by Coffee Culture at lunchtime for a mocha latte, and it’s the best I’ve had so far in Christchurch! I’ve been hooked on mocha drinks ever since a tea-tasting ceremony in Japan, where I had the most unforgettable mocha. The mocha latte here had a well-balanced portion of tea powder, delivering a pure, smooth, and hearty taste—perfect for colder weather. However, the mocha powder didn’t fully dissolve, which was a bit disappointing—definitely could use a better tea whisk. The customer service was fantastic! The staff were super friendly, and I was especially impressed by the person taking orders—patient, welcoming, and greeting everyone with a warm smile. The café is also in a great spot, surrounded by a variety of stores, making it a convenient and enjoyable place to visit. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!”

“Very friendly service from the little bubbly Asian lady, that made our day better after the disappointment of 15% surcharges for public holdays and thinking we wouldn't get a coffee and breakfast. No surcharge, thats a bonus, the coffee was good as was the food.”

“I had avocado toast here for lunch today. Chef Jessie has delivered the plate to my table by himself. The food was amazing, fresh, delicious and lovely presentated! It's one of my favourite places for healthy delicious lunch. As well they have sparkling water straight from the tap, what is so unusual.”

I know its incredibly hard to make anything with gluten free bread and my husband had not had a cheese roll for so long! Even better his gluten free one was the same price as my non gluten free one! “I'm on a quest to find the best cheese scone in Christchurch. Someone recommended me this cafe, and let me tell you.... this is my sixth scone for review and you are now top of my list! Truly the best cheese scone in Chch. It's really the flavour that makes it so good. I think a lot of places focus more on texture which is not a bad idea, but it's gotta be well rounded. This scone has it all. I'd love to come back and try the gluten free one. Coffee was also amazing. The two ladies, one on till and one on coffee, were both incredible as well and had such lovely vibes. 10/10 experience”

“Ordered our hot chocolate. We were going to get a cheesescone each, but there was only one left. So decided against it. Got our hot chocolates, just as we were leaving a fresh bat h came out. We should have asked but didnt. Excellent service and hot chocolate was one of the best we have had.”

“The coffee here is a lovely dark roast and made to a high standard. There's some nice cabinet food, but I recommend the menu options, which are all delicious and reasonably priced. The seating is super-comfy and there's heaps of tables. Easy parking.”

“Reading books while having coffee? What's not to love? I ordered mocha and it was lovely. Also the toilets are really clean, to think that the cafe is busy, and,and, and,(yes 3 "ands")because they've got 3 bathrooms! With exclamation point! They've got 3 clean toilets! Normally cafe's have only one right? But they've got 3 and it's a big deal for me because I've got 2 kids 6&4 where they tell you that they need to go the toilet when it's almost too late (mom's will know what i mean). Therefore I highly recommend this to all mom's out there who just want to go out once in a while and have a simple coffee.”
