Took a sample in and the lovely lady gave me an accurate reading of my pool water quality. I followed her advice and presto, a week later, the pool was clean and crystal clear. I always buy my products there now, as the pool chat and service is excellent.”

“Fantastic and magical experience! These tour guides know their stuff and took great care to make sure we all had a safe and memorable night kayaking tour in waters where bioluminescent marine life can be found. Don't waste time trying to photograph the elusive sparks and glows in the dark - just take it in, be present, and you'll feel the happiness and cherish the memories. Look up and enjoy the stars, too! I recommend reading and following their recommendations - they know how to take care of their customers, if you take the time to do a little reading and packing in advance. The general meeting location was Waiake Beach - worth going early and spending time there to enjoy tidal pools and unique coastal scenery. Around 2pm the specific meeting location was communicated, and it was not far away - Long Bay Regional Park, which is also a lovely place to relax and take a nap before a night paddling expedition. I am a novice at kayaking, this was only my second time, and the my first was over a decade ago. The guide's lessons were all I needed to paddle and steer, I was able keep up. Most of our group were inexperienced, and we all had a great time!”

“This is the best store if you want knowledgeable advice and great customer service. I first came here about 8 months ago and I was lucky to meet Marco there who spent a considerable amount of time with me, listening and giving me advice. The shoes I bought there are still my favourite and I keep coming back here for more. I honestly think that the experience helped me to become a successful runner. The store can get busy but it is because they truly care about the customers and won't try to rush you or be pushy. Athlete's Foot has the best sales among all the sports shoe stores, which is important for me because shoes can get really expensive. If you are a Parkrunner, you get extra discount too. Whenever I come here, I feel that the store's goal is not to sell me something expensive and see me out, but to keep me coming back. Great job!”

“Wide variety of high quality outdoor equipment. While I did not find what I was lookibg for (the product is long discontinued) the staff was very helpfull in going through the products in an attempt to find a suitable alternative. Indeed this chain seems to have tue widest variety of outdoor equipment, from what I've seen so far in Auckland.”

“Our 2 daughters (now 8 & 10) joined Empire after attending a school holiday program with friends. We absolutely LOVE the studio and have recommended it to so many others. We particularly love the inclusive environment where students are empowered and supported to step out of their comfort zone and try new things and be their best selves. No body issues, hair styles or special uniforms required - just honest fun and friendship. My eldest has joined a competition team this year which has been a step up from the community classes in terms of commitment and skill level but she has been gently nudged and comes home every week wanting to practice and test her body and learn new tricks. She is so proud of herself every time she nails it. Thanks to Claire and Jaymie for the wonderful community they’ve developed and nurture. We love being part of it!”

“Bomb proof gear that's made to last, with fantastic service! Can't recommend Cactus enough, My Mountain jacket is the only one that I've never been disappointed in having tried many other brands. I've had it a few years now and multiple occasions of Skiing laps whilst friends sit in the café during blizzard like conditions. I was warm and dry enjoying the fresh powder. If your serious about the outdoors or just want to stay Dry and Warm then Cactus is the go to! They make stuff that lasts and it's worth every dollar.”
