Absolutely brilliant place. It’s not just a bike repair shop, they actually teach you how to fix your own bike so you understand what’s going on and can look after it yourself. The volunteers are friendly, patient, and really know their stuff. Great atmosphere, great mission, and genuinely helpful for the community. Highly recommended.

I took my son's bike in for repairs today, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The staff at Bike Hub were friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. They diagnosed the issue right away and had the bike fixed up quickly β€” it’s riding better than ever now! It’s always a relief to find a place you can trust, especially when it comes to your kid’s safety. Huge thanks to the team for making the whole process so smooth. We’ll definitely be coming back for future tune-ups or upgrades. Highly recommended!

Absolutely love this place! Shane is so helpful and shared bucket loads of knowledge. Got our kids bikes adjusted. Hidden gem, cannot wait to go back again for the kids to use the ramp and buy used bikes as they get bigger. Gave me all the community vibes, love it!

Shane at the Henderson Bike Hub went out of his way to help my son with his project to build an electric trike. He supported him so respectfully when he needed help and showed him how to do stuff for himself. We would not have been able to get the end result we did without his help. Thanks so much, would highly recommend.

Went along to the Henderson Bike Hub this afternoon and honestly it was the highlight of my weekend! Shane was so friendly and helpful and made time for all my questions about the bike and about being new to cycling. I bought the bike off facebook marketplace and had a few problems with really stiff gears, skipping gears as I rode, as well as the front break not unclamping. Shane looked through it all with me and replaced the completely rusted front brake wire (for only $5!) and oiled up the gear wires and opened up the gear shifters and oiled them (and removed the random things that had found their way inside…). The bike was riding so much better after that! He gave really insightful advice about when to change the chain (and all my many other random questions haha). They have parts there for things like replacing wires and those were fixed then and there. For other bike parts (chain, tyres etc), Shane explained that I can come back with the parts from a bike shop and we can change them together when they need changing! Super helpful!!! I will definitely be coming back!! Shane was so generous with his time and knowledge and genuinely passionate about his community. I rode away confident and beaming the whole way, excited to ride and feeling so blessed by the excellent service and generosity of spirit. HIGHLY recommend for anyone with questions about their bike - no questions are dumb questions in this space!

Awesome service. So great to have someone in the community who can share their knowledge about bikes and help me learn what I need to do for myself.

There was an a..hole and he was keep answering "ya, ya, ya" for every comment that I make. He claims that he is trying to help but was a useless person. Try to sell a kids bike for $70 and want me to leave same type of bike with different color for free. All I want to swap handles and seat (they are in great condition) with different color. NOT RECOMENDED to visit. Instead go to New Lynn Bike Hub you will find more friendly and helpful people.
