   I’ve always liked this store for its wide range of products and the fact that they carry items that are hard to find elsewhere, such as Osprey backpacks. However, I recently had a disappointing experience. I had been planning to buy an Osprey Atmos AG LT 50 backpack, and the price was consistently listed at 450 NZD every time I checked. When I finally came to the store ready to purchase it, the price had suddenly increased by 100 NZD. When I asked why, the salesperson told me it was due to an unfavorable NZD exchange rate. Two weeks later, Black Friday started and the price dropped to 440 NZD. To me, it feels like the price was artificially increased beforehand just to make the later “discount” look more impressive. I find this practice dishonest and unworthy of a store I previously trusted.

   Wide variety of high quality outdoor equipment. While I did not find what I was lookibg for (the product is long discontinued) the staff was very helpfull in going through the products in an attempt to find a suitable alternative. Indeed this chain seems to have tue widest variety of outdoor equipment, from what I've seen so far in Auckland.

   Sales person was very good Sold my wife a jacket for $600. He said it was worth spending the extra money for the quality The jacket fits well but when it’s windy the air goes straight through. Not what he told us
