   Disappointing experience — Beware when shopping sale items! I was really excited to finally treat myself to a new pair of shoes after starting a new job. I shopped through the Sale section of the website, found a pair I liked, and placed an order. Unfortunately, the size 42 was too small — and that’s when things went downhill. It turns out the pair I bought was actually Clearance, which apparently means no exchange or return — even for a size issue. The website didn’t make it clear I had gone from sale to clearance. In fact, even the store assistant admitted it’s easy to end up on Clearance items from the Sale section without knowing. Your email doesn’t clearly state it either that you have purchased clearance. They told me my only option was to try sell them on TradeMe — which feels incredibly unfair for brand-new shoes I can’t wear and can’t return. I would really think twice before shopping here, unless they improve their online clarity and customer policies. I ended up finding a pair that would have increased the order amount however given the experience I will shop elsewhere. It’s a shame they are happy to loose a customer in this economic crisis.

   For someone who at the age of 14 (48 years ago) with size 12 feet and only a couple of pairs of old ladies court shoes to choose from from Cambells on Vulcan lane, the discovery of Willow Shoes changed my life when they went on a road show to Taranaki perhaps 16 years ago. To be able to find shoes that fit, are beautiful, unique and even match ones outfits for special occasions, is something I could only dream about in my youth. And even now as my needs for orthotic support and extra width i can still have a lot of choice. Thanks so much.

   Recently bought 2 pairs no regrets. There's only ever been one staff member there that serves me. She makes me feel welcomed & is very helpful. You pay a little more because they are good quality shoes that will last years. I've previously bought 3 pairs & still have them in good condition. It's a matter of perspective pay more get quality that lasts long or buy cheap & buy shoes every couple of weeks or months your choice really. Even better now they now offer afterpay.

   Really good, staff are so helpful. Always love finding shoes that fit! One suggestion, where a particular shoes has only certain sizes left, it might be useful to identify the available sizes with a card on the shoe. Knowing beforehand means we won't have to ask and the staff don't have to spend time checking the stock and answering.

   Great range of shoes and boots for all occasions. Wide range of pricing. On the most recent trip I bought one pair in-store and one that was in another store online later that night. I wasn't that pleased with the service on that trip actually (first time to the Sandringham store) but will continue to return for the shoes, or just shop online as I know my fit etc.

   I've been here twice now to purchase leather conditioner that I can't find anywhere else in Auckland. The person at the counter even gave me tips on finding the product elsewhere which was sweet. Will keep coming back here for it just based on the excellent customer service.
