“This is an amazing Gym, and so are the staff. The gym space and bathroom are clean, and well maintained. I left another gym that I was practically paying $1/day for 24/7 access, to join this gym. While this gym is smaller and doesn't have as much equipment. It has everything I need to complete my work outs without feeling that I've lost workout volume. Also the fact that it's always clean, the members are considerate to put away the gear they use, and the bathrooms are clean. The gym is never packed to the point that I'm waiting for equipment, not forced to change my routine. I am grateful for this gym, I'm only annoyed I didn't join sooner.”

“I have been going to EMT for almost half a year now and I have seen great improvement in my maths. One big thing is that when I joined EMT I needed help for my year 10 numeracy exams. With only a few weeks left to the exams EMT managed to help boost my performance and confidence in math. “I started at Altitude Pole Takapuna a year ago when I first moved to Auckland and it has been such an amazing part of my life. The instructors are perfect, no matter what skill level you are. I have made great friends through the studio as well. One last thing is it is such an accepting place no matter of size, age or gender. “So many good things to say... Jai is a fun, friendly and safe training environment that is perfect for beginners or the less 'athletically talented'. However the competitive aspect is also there for those who are seeking that. I have made several lifelong friends from Jai. They have always had a few carefully selected trainers brought over from Thailand for the specialised skillset they bring, and they are supported by experienced local trainers. I also know for a fact the owner is awesome.”

“I'm Evelyn and I've had the utter delight and privilege of taking Levels One and Two with Juliet Furness this year, and I could not be more grateful. Her approach to teaching the art of acting is unique, insightful, surprising, playful and effective. The classes are more like master classes in what it means to be an authentic human being. I have felt empowered, invigorated and inspired by her classes. She makes everyone feel valued and included. She is enthusiastic, frank, generous and fully present with us. I felt quite bereft at the end of each term... missing my weekly fix of community, of risk taking, of growing as a human being and of feeling safe as well as challenged. I have signed up for Level Three now and I may well go back and do all three levels again next year. They each offer different gifts that complement each other, and some refreshingly different adjustments. Juliet's classes sneak up on you in the way they enhance your acting skills..... i am reminded of working with an Alexander technique body worker, who suggested that in my goal to achieve a straighter back and a more open ribcage I should forget about pulling my shoulders back and forcing myself into a more upright and military type posture because all this would achieve would be more muscular tension elsewhere. Instead she suggested i imagine a 'clavicle smile'.....simply imagining a friendly smile across my collar bone and this transformed my walk and my posture and Juliet achieves similar transformations that happen simply because one learns to get out of one's own way, allowing change to blossom naturally from within! So i think that summarises what Juliet's classes teach..... to trust one's own humanity. Rather than trying to impose some technique onto oneself.”
