“I rate this as the best Chinese takeaways I’ve ever tasted. The sweet and sour pork as well as the chow mein are my favorite dishes. Their service is excellent and they operated safely through Covid lockdown. I hope they become available on Uber Eats one day.”

“I have tried chicken, steak and bacon and egg burger here. They are cheap (7-9$), and tastes all right. Takes about 10-15 minutes to cook. Their chicken fried rice is average, fried chicken is all right but bit too oily”

I tried the lamb biryani, and even though I’m not usually a fan of lamb, it was genuinely delicious. The quality of the meal was impressive, especially for such a reasonable price. “This Auckland spot has some amazing Chinese food! The rice noodle rolls are so chewy and the sauce is delicious. I'll definitely be coming back to try the other flavors. And let me tell you, the polo bun and egg tarts were a hit - they disappeared in no time! I also grabbed some frozen BBQ pork buns to take home - there are so many savory and sweet flavors to choose from. Plus, the restaurant has plenty of parking, it's clean and the staff are super friendly.”

“I have been going to Yoshi Sushi for years. The sushi is the best sushi in East Auckland. I also love that everything is made fresh on the spot so I am still able to eat this sushi while pregnant, The owners are so accommodating around this as well. I absolutely recommend!”

Soft spoken staff :) extremely glad there is a Indian flavour making pizza spot that’s actually very good. 1st Jun visit: Had tandoori paneer, had to bin it immediately after first bite. Absolutely didn’t feel d flavour. Extreme disappointment. 9th Aug visit : Opted for chatpata paneer again , ain’t trying any other for a while. It was so good. This was a free pizza considering my last unhappy visit few months ago. I got served a large pizza when I wanted only a small one. There is no way a large could be consumed fully by one person especially this one with the heavyness in it. I insisted I pay but Sameer’s brother( didn’t get his name, my bad) was more adamant in not letting me to. All he wanted was if I was happy with the pizza this time 22/01/25 : Had thin crust chatpata paneer :) loved it OMG.”

“Awesome cafe in Howick. We ordered the Beef croquettes, Salmon Eggs Benny and a simple Cheese Toastie. All came out hot and at the same time. All were delicious, especially the Croquettes. My only negative was a few things I originally wanted were not available. We will be back”

“We live near the Auckland CBD and it took less than 20 minutes to get to this beautiful estate. The food was beyond delicious. I’m not a very experienced wine drinker, so I went with one of the wines the server recommended (pinotage) and it was a great choice that paired well with what we ordered. The service was excellent and the venue was lovely. Would absolutely recommended to any couple looking for a great lunch to be enjoyed outdoors (as we did) or indoors if the weather isn’t as nice as it was today.”

“Love this new addition to Silverdale. The Korean Chicken is lovely and tender. Lots of flavor, with different options of original, spicy, honey/soy, seasoned etc. My wife and I have enjoyed the Chicken every time we have been. I normally get the chips combo with drink and find the chips are always hot and have great taste. My wife loves the Chicken bowl with rice and coleslaw.”

“This cafe was recommended to us by a family member for superb salmon bagels. Boy were we not disappointed. I prefer cooked salmon and nothing was too much bother to lightly grill the smoked salmon. It was amazing and very generous. All our table loved everything they had, fettuccine, blat, gf french toast and two salmon bagels. We loved to cafe, friendly, wonderful ambience.
