“An all time favourite. Always an amazing choice of foods that never fail to please in both size and flavour. I've heard there are other branches of Kreem but there is something special about the location on Universal Drive.... I'll be back”
“Great coffee, tasty food, happy customers!”
“Best pies I’ve ever had in New Zealand, also sausage rolls were unreal! Super kind staff as well, who were very understanding about allergies and what we were able to have. Very reasonable pricing as well. Best place around!”
“Such a lovely spot! I came in to have lunch and get a bit of work done, and I ended up staying longer than planned because I felt so good there. The staff were absolutely adorable, the tea was delicious, and there were plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options. My meal was rich and comforting, and the tart for dessert was amazing, a bit much for just me, but can’t complain about that. I’ll definitely be back, either by myself or with friends! ✨”
“Every steak and cheese&mince&cheese pie ive had from here has been 11/10 would go here everyday if i could”
“If you are looking for a classic cafe style cafe then look no further, there was relief and excitement when the food arrived it was just so delis to taste that classic French toast again! The coffee was nice and overall excellent hospitality! Highly recommended.”
“Really lovely bakehouse. The energy there is just awesome. Buzzing with friendly people. We started conversations with people at 4 different tables. Had lots of laughs. Hubby and me never had an experience like that in cafe before. Food was really good. Priced well for the quality and size. Not fancy foods but more like home cooked foods and even do we are foodies we still enjoyed it and went back next day and grabbed sandwich and sausage roll. Sorry no photos of those as we finished it in a hurry but sandwich was packed with tasty filling and hubby said the sausage roll was the best he ever had. So there you go. If you not sure what to try definitely grab sausage roll. Coffee was excellent. Large size came in decent large mug and was hot and delicious.”
“Had one of their award winning Steak n Cheese pies. It was everything you'd want from a pie - flakey pastry on top, soft on bottom, delicious flavours, tender steak, golden on top. Not the cheapest at $7 but definitely worththe stop if you're after a good pie.”
“This wonderful Café, tucked behind an old railway station that feels straight out of a Harry Potter movie, is a total gem. The cozy vibe, with its vintage decor, makes it a great spot to kick back and relax. Their food is delicious—try the sandwiches and pastries, paired with some fantastic coffee. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. Whether you’re hanging out with friends or just enjoying some quiet time, this place is perfect for a chill day. Definitely check it out!”
“Ordered a breakfast from Uber eats. The food was delicious. Banana smoothie was nice.”
“Good place for family hanging out! We love the atmosphere and especially food. Some of the nicest tasting food I've had for a while. Recommend - egg Benedict, pasta, coffee.”
“Visiting this store for the first time, I was super impressed with the size, taste, and filling of the steak pie. Definitely at the top of my mind next time I'm passing through and looking for a bite.”
“Been to this place for many years. Always awesome. Always satisfied. No surprise that there are always busy. On our last visit, unbeknown to us that the wait staff forgot about our food order. An observant manager spotted us looking around and checked on us. Quickly sorted the missing order. Come to apologize multiple times. We assured them that it’s all good. No problems. These things happened. The manager insisted not to charge us for the coffee. Wow. Not many managers and or restaurants would do this. 5 stars indeed.”
“I came from Australia and had visited couple of cafes and restaurants but Olaf’s experience was unique. The coffee and food is really tasty and amazing. The whole staff was so kind to me. I would say it is the best cafe in the town so far I have visited yet. The bread was fresh and delicious. The seating and outside view is also very good. Must visit with your family.”
“Owners are awesome here. Such lovely and kind ladies. Beef Benedict burger in the morning always does the trick - hot and so tasty. Awesome hot food and lunch selection, a must visit”
“Clean bakery, friendly staff and excellent coffee!!!”
“Was recommended to come here for the Lambs Fry, so I made the trek out to this little cafe and it dosent disappoint. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! The food was homely and very satisfying as well. They have a whole range of food items, hot or cold! Of course there are espresso based drinks, as well as alcoholic if you want a cold brew! There are lovely little tables inside to sit at, or there are tables littered all over the courtyard!”
“Steak n cheese pies for life. If you like a good old steak n chee! This is the bakery. okay my geeez!”
“I had the Big Kiwi breakfast for lunch, it was just delicious. The scrambled eggs was creamy, the tomato was charred cooked, bacon crispy, hash brown hot, soft inside and crispy outside, fried mushrooms an the sausage were tasty with bits of cheese in them, two slices of a type of bread and butter, washed down with english breakfast tea. Just thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband had just a pie and coke.”
