Holy heck, best pies on the peninsula in my opinion. In fact best pies more far reaching than that even! I used to live on the North Shore and nothing there touches these beauties! Ignore the cafes near by that tout β€˜award winning’. Nothing special there, I’ve tried! These humble owners clearly take pride in doing their own thing and despite what is clearly a magical and special effort in mouth watering, super tender, very tasty pies, they don’t go about flaunting it like others. You get what you pay for! I often swing by for the BLT sandwiches too, generous sized - no mucking about. Certainly one of the better ones in siverdale area and take humble unspoken pride in what they do! I’m off there now haha!

After many months of trying Butter Chicken Pies I think I have found the winner. The pastry is flaky but not too flaky, buttery with a bread-y finish. It gives the best of both worlds with slight crunch and a soft bite. Someone must have had a PhD in structural engineering as it held the gravy in without bursting at the seams, like a well designed dam the pie width was three times its height. The sauce seemed to be a 400 year old family recipe that has been crafted and perfected with each iteration to finally land on the perfect creamy, but not sickly flavor. It hits you with a hint of spice and heat that you think at first would send it over the edge, but just as it hits the red line and loses its peak torque band, it changes gear and leaves you with a pleasant tickle of the taste buds. Finally the chicken; soft tender and moist, with the perfect meat to gravy ratio. Its like the pie wants you to believe the this could be part of a clean bulk diet and it is at the bottom of the food pyramid, however this is a treat and should be appreciated like a fine bottle of wine. Pairs well with a custard slice, and a trip to Bunnings or Mitre10.

Owners are awesome here. Such lovely and kind ladies. Beef Benedict burger in the morning always does the trick - hot and so tasty. Awesome hot food and lunch selection, a must visit

Great food. Often stop in early morning on the way to work and food always tastes freshly cooked and delicious. Great customer service as well.

Utterly disappointed. This place used to have lovely food but not any longer. What happened? Change of management perhaps? Hot food was cold, pie was bland as were the mini savouries, chicken kebabs dry and Berry slice flavourless as was the brownie. Very expensive lunch and a waste of food that ended up in the bin. Had to go and buy lunch elsewhere. Will not be back.

The Best little Cafe runny by two Owners friendly people Use this place since they we moved to Milldale 8kms away from home its the closest shops to our housing area. Food prices are high like most Cafes now days. But i go to see the staff for a chat. Love the Coffee they make. They have good food for lazy cooks to take home for dinner. You can park outside most of the time it's free parking still here. Support your local business they need to pay there bills to. God Bless you all.

Excellent range of hot and cold dishes. Good coffee - made well, and hot at hand-over. Counters, tables and seats were clean and welcoming. Fridges full of cold drinks to choose from. Bakery fare at reasonable prices - fresh and delicious. Inside, outside or takeaway. Brilliant place to sit in the sun, enjoying the kai and lovely rural-type views. Excellent service from courteous, polite, friendly, helpful staff.
