Grabbed something to eat Sunday. Cost $40 for 1 pie, 1 mocha, 1 ham & egg sandwhich, 1 coke - nothing special. Charging $9.50 for plate of chips!! Way cheaper cafes. Staff was average but not very customer friendly.
This was my first time here. The food the service the prices are all top notch. The 2 ladies who served me today were amazing. I ordered the big breakfast which was delicious. The iced mochachino was delicious and refreshing. I highly recommend this place and would return in a heartbeat.
I had the Big Kiwi breakfast for lunch, it was just delicious. The scrambled eggs was creamy, the tomato was charred cooked, bacon crispy, hash brown hot, soft inside and crispy outside, fried mushrooms an the sausage were tasty with bits of cheese in them, two slices of a type of bread and butter, washed down with english breakfast tea. Just thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband had just a pie and coke.
Tried the steak pie from Hollywood Bakery and honestly, I wish I hadn’t. What was meant to be a hearty, comforting bite turned into a chewy endurance test. The filling was riddled with fatty chunks and rubbery bits that had me questioning whether I’d accidentally ordered a meat-flavoured chewing gum. The pastry was passable, but it couldn’t save the horror show inside. If you’re after a proper pie, keep walking — this one’s all filler, no thrill.
I visited the store today with my dad and siblings, and we ordered four drinks: two flat whites, one hot chocolate, and one vanilla latte. Shortly after our visit, we all became very unwell and spent the entire day vomiting. We do not have any milk allergies or underlying medical issues, so this was very concerning. I tried calling the store, but the manager was unavailable. The staff assured me they would pass on the message. I’m very disappointed and hope no one else had a similar experience today.
Just disappointed to start my day with a cup of horrible coffee! I orderd a medium latte in a take away cup I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience at this café was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share. The coffee was, quite frankly, undrinkable — running, tasteless & poorly made, and far from what you’d expect from a place that calls itself a café. I truly hope the management takes these issues seriously, because right now, this place is the very opposite of what a café experience should be. Definitely not a place I’d return.
Pretty good coffee. Pies were average at best. Full of gristle and chewy meat.
Staff and food fine were fine but management were very rude. Instead of asking me to move my shopping cart they proceeded to tell me that my cart was in the way and was I finished eating yet. Great way to treat a paying customer.
Met a friend for lunch, friendly staff and fast service, even a corner with blackboards for children. Dogs allowed at outside table, will take my pouch when the weather's better.
It's a pretty typical cafe... Very nice staff, but the food is just okay. Nothing special but fine when you don't have time for a sit down lunch. I've never ordered something off the menu, I've only ever eaten a ready to go pie or sandwich. It is possible that the made to order food is better. I will say their desserts are quite nice and the coffee is good. I appreciate the hard working people here. They are attentive and sweet.
Our bakery has the most delicious pies. Yesterday I brought a Steak and cheese pie with huge chunks of steak and just the right amount of cheese the gravy was delicious.
