“Great stop for delicious breakfast and coffee - we both had the $15 mini “big” breakfast, which was not mini by any stretch of the imagination. It came with an egg, a thick slice of toast, two hash brown triangles, a slice of bacon, a sausage and a roasted tomato. The poached eggs were done perfectly and everything else was hot with crispy hash browns. Hard to beat that deal!The flat white and latte were also good. Friendly, prompt service. We sat outside under cover in a nice space, even though it was raining. Other food looked good also.”

“THIS PLACE! I flew in on Auckland and by accident stumbled on this little gem. I never had carrot cake... Needless to say it was DELICIOUS. Homemade, owner bakes it himself. The atmosphere is also wonderfull. I went around NZ after this first cake... Never had the same taste in my mouth again! Until I visited back when I had to leave NZ... Each bite is perfect! Staff is soo friendly and genuine trying to build something nice up. It's a pity a lot of old reviews are bringing this score down (it was the previous owner), because it deserves a freaking big score ❤️ It is a small caffee, so expect when it's busy some waiting time to get in.”

“I’m amazed! Such beautiful dishes and they are delicious as well. Not to mention averagely priced for being much nicer and visually enthralling than in most places. Highly recommend this place, specifically the creamy mushroom rostis and the fluffy pancakes (have never eaten something so fluffy). The macchiato coffee and iced chocolate with almond milk were great as well. Free water, which is great. Nice place, chill atmosphere, friendly service. Very happy to have gone here! Will come again, especially for special occasions.”

“These guys are THE BEST!!! Not only do they have a great range and very good prices. Their service is brilliant. They today personally packed again and delivered my order over half an hours drive each way as the courier had failed to deliver due to a fault on the couriers part. We were a little worried about the possum because we’ve experienced it being itchy before now but not with Ahipao! Soft as a cloud and great quality. Can’t recommend highly enough and will be a definite go to for our winter woolies.”

“The waiters in this restaurant are very polite and made me feel very comfortable when dining in the store. They will ask you carefully if you need more water? Still need some service? It's been a long time since I've tasted such delicious Japanese food. The vegetable tempura is not greasy and the ingredients are chosen just right, so it tastes delicious. The most surprising thing is that I didn’t expect the portion size of KIWI DINNER to be so big, so I think the portion size for two people is just right. A Japanese restaurant that is worth visiting again.”

“Fabulous food at Chinwags Restaurant & Bar in Clarks Beach, New Zealand. Absolutely delicious and the customer service was above and beyond. They were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Clarks Beach locals, you need to get behind these guys and support them or you will miss out on an amazing dining experience! “Tried this out for my birthday because of the reviews. Did not disappoint. Beautiful dishes. Not all dishes were to my liking but I dined with family & everyone enjoyed their food. We spent around $500 & that's js because we bought heaps of plates for 9 of us & had heaps of leftovers. Loved the bbq pork & sweet taro balls? And also the little buns with condensed milk not sure what they were called. Duck was also good. Oh and the soft shell crab was to die for. So good. Too many other dishes to name but thoroughly enjoyed our meals & will definitely come back in the near future to try other dishes. Thank you”

“Oh my! What a gastronomic experience ❤️ He had sweet and sour chicken and rice and I had sunshine (can’t remember exactly the name) pork and rice. Condiments included garlic vinegar, and two types of chillies sauce. Generous portions that are filling. My second time here and his first. He was impressed! It’s a small place, in the middle of Birkenhead. Easy to get to by car or bus (from the city) with plenty of parking. You simply have to come experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine! So delicious. ❤️”
