First experience and the service was average. The young girl seemed in a rush and annoyed as I asked her how to go through the process of making a bowl. The young guy however was friendly and polite. There should be labels on all the ingredients displayed to save you guessing what each one is. Sure if you know food it's quite explanatory but labels are needed. The protein portion is poor, giving two half ice cream scoops of each protein. The taste is okay, they give free water and have shared seating out the back.

Absolutely amazing! I had the tuna and salmon, you could tell the fish was fresh. The tuna was my favourite. Definitely recommend and will get again

If you’re after a healthy lunch with lots of fresh vegetables Poke Poke in Takapuna is a great choice. Different options for the rice base, five different proteins to chose from (I loved the tuna and salmon), wide range of delicious looking sauces and, of course, all the fresh vegetables. Not the cheapest place to get lunch (I paid $23.80 with the tuna and salmon), but you definitely get what you pay for.

This was my first time at a poke bowl place and it was delicious! I appreciate finding healthy options like this on holidays. I am on a low sodium diet and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Portions were generous. Avocado is extra $ and worth it - very fresh and essential nutrients!

I love this quaint little food alley in Takapuna! Poke Poke is just one of many options including burgers and sushi. The outdoor seating area is under cover and shared by all the restaurants in the alley. Great place!

Was recommended this place-originally new market one but that’s closed now so had to put my two cents somewhere-by a friend and wow long story short: best bang for your buck poke place! My bowl consisted of: Purple rice and salad 2 protein tuna and salmon. Toppings: edamame, seaweed, crab surimi, ginger, pickles. Finishing a: Kimchi mayo with sesame, fried shallot, seaweed. For the portion size, the price is extremely decent, even though the fish have a 50 cent extra charge, my meal only ended up being 14.90. I'm so surprised and happy with the meal and the quality of the sides. The tuna and salmon were both well marinated with soy, soft and fresh, and decent serving size. The toppings complimented my meal very well, especially the ginger and pickle which added strong taste and the shallots were super crunchy adding that wonderful texture. Personally the rice was a bit too overdone, most of it was too soft and mushy-that's the only con I have. Otherwise, you can't beat it for the price!

It was my fav poke bowl place in akl until it changed owner…havent came back since then, decided give it another try but Really disappointed… The size of the portion is unreasonable little whilst the price is surprisingly high -two protein $16.4 and extra $2 for salmon and tuna???? The tastes have also changed - less sauce As well as the services - didn’t feel welcomed Would never grab my lunch here again
