“I love this place. Decent place for a lunch in Penrose. The staff is great, friendly and quick service. I have been here 3-4 times and never gave a chance for disappointment. Great taste. Reasonable costs.”

“This restaurant serves tasty food that both my husband and I enjoyed. Hunan food is very spicy but they happily toned it back for my husband, who can't handle too much chilli. The menu is very porky but I don't like pork so we tried various other options instead. The smelly tofu entree was suitably pungent and came topped with hot chilli. It was too hot for my husband but just right for me so I hoovered it all up. We also had hot and sour pickled radish, dong 'an chicken and stir fried chicken. All were lovely. The owner was friendly and interested to know what we thought of the food given we were the only non Asian patrons. The only negative - and it's not a big deal - is that the owner was busy in the kitchen when we arrived and it took quite a while before she noticed us standing at the counter. But we didn't mind too much and would happily eat there again.”

“Love the steam rice. Mushroom chicken is smooth and taste like home. All customers were welcome with awesome warm Chinese tea. Almost every other table ordered Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaves, must come and try next time”

“I ordered 3 mains (beef penang, chicken green curry, and tofu pad see ew) and two entrees (tomyum) for three of us and the portions were so massive we had heaps of leftovers! The food is clean, fresh, and absolutely delicious with generous vegetables, spices/herbs, nuts, and meat. I found this place by scrolling through community pages and very happy I did. The lady who served me was super friendly and elegantly handled my requests (I always ask for half sugar at any Thai place), and all dishes were considerately packaged, and best of all, ready within 10 minutes of ordering over the phone. My new favourite Thai takeout, will go back very soon to try the larb gai, thank you thank you, khap kun kha!”

“Frequent visitor here. I've only had the noodles once so this is for the food menu. Favorites are the sliced pork with egg and vegetables, beef Curry and braised beef with potatoes. Always consistent, always delicious. Food usually comes out pretty quick and the owners are friendly.”

“this is one fo the best Fish and chips I've ever had in NZ, The boss serves warmly and the shop is clean and tidy ,although the shop area is not big, but very warm and comfortable. the materials are very fresh, and the products taste first class, especially fried chicken wings, unique configuration, taste better than big brand stores.my friends and i come almost every week now. Highly recommended.”

“Found this takeaway hidden in a carpark by countdown. Had fish, chips, mussel, and squid ring. Simply the best! Fish was a large piece, very thick. Chips were cooked perfectly. All the food was well strained, the wrapper was not greasy. Will be back again.”

“5 stars because they’re the first place I’ve seen that has offered a $0.50 discount (minimum spend req.) for BYO sushi container - double thumbs up! The sush itself is probs about 3 stars but I go back for the convenience. Update: they do amazingly delicious poké bowls for lunch - the spicy salmon (pictured) is my personal favourite as it’s fresh and yum”

“The food was surprisingly big for one person. It was good size with cheap price. Pad Thai was quite really good, near authentic. The fried wonton and the sauce was perfect! If I'll crave for Thai food, I will definitely come back again. :)”

“Tried out this pizza joint and it was really delicious. The service is great and their pizza deals were really good. Ordered the taco pizza, cheese, maxi meat pizza, onion rings and garlic bread all were really tasty a nice pizza base and good amount of toppings. The taco pizza is so yummy quite surprising with lettuce on it. A clean pizza place good seating space inside and easy parking at this location.”

“This place is awesome! Highly recommend! We were given cups for our drinks for free! Super polite, they put on a great show while making our pizza, the man there was super kind and helpful, us 6 kids had the time of our lives! If I could give 6 or more star I would! They also turned the TV on what we wanted, and we didn't even ask. Also the pizza is top quality.”
