“First time diners after recently moving to the area, we had 1 guest who is gluten free. Pre booked and very accommodating for our food allergy diner. The food was amazing, everyone ordered a different dish and each one full of deep flavourful and well balanced. The menu has so many delicious sounding options we will definitely be back time and time again”

“I love this Chinese takeout for their hot chips. Are always golden crispy and well drained. In my opinion they do the best chips out of our three local Chinese takeaway because of the golden crispy crunch the chips have. Smaller portioned but best quality. I also tried their spicy sliced pork belly on white rice with vegetables as it was a recommended dish under reviews on their website. Have tried the same dish at Mt Albert & Mt Eden. They do not compare to this place and the way they do it. My favourite dish is the Chicken Rice Noodles dish. It’s so satisfying as a comfort food. And the servings sizes of these two dishes are worth the price. The owners are friendly. I hope they will stay open for as long as I am here. The others just don’t seem to compare.”

“Excellent service and fresh, tasty food! Stopped by Pita Pit and was really impressed with how clean and well-presented everything was. The staff were friendly, quick, and made sure the order was exactly how I wanted it. The ingredients were fresh, the portions generous, and everything tasted great. “Good prices for their movie tickets, last time I remember it was $8 compared to the $19+ to buy a ticket at hoyts. They also offer western union transactions and lotto. The owners also are friendly and welcoming no matter what you buy. Parking is a bit difficult when it gets busy because you cannot see cars on the road when reversing out. Also frequented by school kids weekday afternoons so plan your visit and avoid the busy hours.”

“I have visited Cafe Anatolia Ta Atatu yesterday and had a Kebab and coffee. Kebab was too yummy. I was really amazed by the service from staff named Maharaj. He was really amicable, proactive and professional. You will never regret after having their food and service. I love to visit them again.”

“Update: its been a couple of yesrs since I first reviewed here. It feels like it maybe has new ownership. The cooked menu is offering all options now. Staff are still friendly, service, cabinet and coffee are good. Under new management since last time I was here. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Staple bakery items are still available but quite a few cooked menu items are no longer available. The coffee is now by Allpress, but the coffee training needs some work as my coffee was poorly extracted, the texture light and watery and the milk texture had too much air.”

“We stop at Marsic’s for fresh fish and sometimes pop in here for some hot treats. Always the same. Spring roll, hot chips and yummy fish bites. Best fish bites in our opinion and cooked in nice clean oil. Thank you :)”

“Lovely cafe inside the botanical centre - a great place for a coffee surrounded by plants. I was very happy to discover that they have vegan milk options - soy, almond, and coconut milk for $1 extra, making my soy flat white $6.50. Good coffee and good atmosphere. They have a toilet on site as well. They have very limited vegan food options with only one on the menu that I could see. Would be great if they could expand their vegan offering.”
