Me and my partner ordered the cheese burger and added bacon, 2 fish of the day and 1 scoop chips, awesome service Waited 10 minutes and prices not to bad. Loved the chips as it was nicely salted. Fish was so good and very fresh! The burger was fantastic, will be back for more!
I tried the new menu sweet and sour pork. The sauce is veey nice. Their fish is a bit pricy compared to other place where u can get cheap fish. But it is fresh and the portion is good. I suggest go for the snapper. And the spring rolls are nice too!
First time trying this place and can’t say I will be back. Ordered a steak and egg burger to get home and find 2 thin meat Pattie’s, an egg and one small very thin dry piece of steak. I don’t mind paying for food at a higher cost if it is worth the quality and delivers. But this unfortunately didn’t. I’m not sure why it is even called a steak burger? It was more like a double cheese and egg burger. I saw no steak. It was all very underwhelming. Pattie’s were below average as well and didn’t even make up for my missing steak. Rest of the food was over salted. Edit- I came on Saturday evening. Obviously I do not expect 250g of steak in my burger but you shouldn’t call it a steak burger if it has no steak in it. It had one small strip of steak and 2 below average Pattie’s. Of course I pay attention to prices in supermarket. It is beside the point. My issue is I ordered a steak burger and did not get that. Queenstown has expensive burgers but the quality and ingredients are worth it, hence why people buy them. Queenstown is completely irrelevant here. this is one fo the best Fish and chips I've ever had in NZ, The boss serves warmly and the shop is clean and tidy ,although the shop area is not big, but very warm and comfortable. the materials are very fresh, and the products taste first class, especially fried chicken wings, unique configuration, taste better than big brand stores.my friends and i come almost every week now. Highly recommended.
Really friendly service as well as good tasting food. Not overly oily and tasted fresh. Not the cheapest but worth it
