“This playground is a fun and safe place for kids. It has swings, slides, and cool things to climb. There are trees, trails, and even places for butterflies. The park is clean and has shade to keep you cool. It is a great spot for families to play and relax...”
“Very kind staff. Recommend their youth activities here.”
“Loved the ika mata, citrus cured, raw fish. Good range of beers, lively music. Ample outdoor, covered and well ventilated spaces for sunny days.”
“My mom and I were in Auckland for a few days and wanted to go see a play and we ended up getting tickets to White Men. The venue was gorgeous, the show was great, and overall it was just a lovely atmosphere! If either of us ever go back to Auckland, we will definitely be looking to see another show here! Highly recommend!”
“Very cool park. Great playground at one end of the park and a cool looking hide out/ tunnel/ ex-cannon place. Would have loved to use the stairs to go down the beach, but it was closed off. Looking straight ahead, you can enjoy Rangitoto island. A cool fact I just searched up, this park is named after American president John F. Kennedy.”
“Another iconic place in Auckland for theatre and arts. Wonderful performances and a meeting place for artists and art enthusiasts.”
“Cute little basement cinema with chill vibes. Nice place to get out of the afternoon heat and watch a flick”
“Great park for families, would reccomend bringing skateboard or scooter(be respectful to Older skaters tho) and a tog n towel for the kids as the park has a cool water feature too.”
“Pretty mint playground, segregated into 3 parts - there is this mini obstacle course which was very cool. Bonus dairy and takeaway just meters away. Nice to see kids making their way to shops in their little packs, giving me nostalgic vibes. Plenty of parking too.”
“Came out a few months ago to grab a curry. Hadn’t been here before but my partner had. Since then we’ve been back every couple of weeks. The food is great, but for us it’s the service. They are so amazing and always remember my name, (which as someone who can never remember names myself I always find super impressive) we usually sit and have a glass of something while we wait for the food and the food itself is always bang on. The singer is also fabulous! (Give her some applause if you go, she deserves it!) Definitely one of our favourite places.”
“I had a wonderful experience at British Isles Inn. From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel genuinely welcome with their warm and friendly attitude. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food paired with outstanding hospitality!”
“The best escape room we have experienced so far. The room is really well designed to fit the theme. Staff is friendly and helpful, answered our questions patiently. Can solve the puzzles either sequentially or not.”
“We had our end of season Hockey at Laserforce, and had 2 hours unlimited lasertag. It was amazing, the kids and adults all loved it. It's such a big space with an upstairs and downstairs. Everything is explained well and the staff are great. We were able to bring in outside foods and had Pizza Hut delivered from just around the road and brought in other drinks and foods. All and all I recommend this for a kids party or team building activity.”
“We had a great time on all the games. I especially enjoyed the No Mans Land VR free-roam no cables team battle shooter!”
“Amazing service ! Had so much fun and very accommodating. We have 6 children ages 4-13 and she made sure to accommodate to them all. So much fun for them as well as us parents. Definitely recommend. Also the lasertag space is the perfect size, not too small yet not too big.”
“Plenty of activities on during the month. Keep up the good work.”
“Awesome place to take the kids! The playground has way more features than your average playground. It has some cool gym machines alongside the playground which are good for teenagers and under. Also has a flying fox which is safe for young kids to use - even by themselves. It would seem that the local community looks after the playground as it's always kept clean. There is little-to-none vandalism and it is free for anyone inside the community to use.”
“Awesome Community Hub. I've been going with my wife for the past 2 weeks and it's always tidy, clean and lots of parking available.”
“Great food, can get very busy. Good vegan options.”
“We visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon and the vibe was great. A live band was playing good tunes, not so loud that you couldn't enjoy a good yarn with your mates, and the staff were courteous and friendly. We arrived when it was very busy so the wait time for a cooked meal from the menu was an hour so keep that in mind if visiting when busy. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and look forward to stopping in again over summer.”
“We lovd it. Excellent experience. Remember us a travel in Edinburgh! Why the scottish people always eat nachos? We like it!”
“Auckland Zoo is an easy standout. The staff and volunteers are genuinely friendly and make the whole place feel welcoming. The animals look well cared for and the habitats are clean and well maintained. Plenty to keep the kids entertained with lots of space to explore and learn. Also, the coffee at the front cafe is surprisingly good which is always a win. A smooth, enjoyable visit from start to finish. Great place for families. Parking was closed due to renovations, so we had to park near MOTAT. Nice walk through the park though.”
“We booked our corporate Christmas party at GameOver and could not have been more pleased with the choice. Your staff are absolutely great. From quick replies and great service to all of our pre-party correspondence to support and guidance on the day to ensure our large number of guests could seamlessly enjoy the various activities and lunch without a hitch. Our team thoroughly enjoyed the experience.”
“Really enjoyed our visit here. The show and guide was really good.”
“Great for bikes and scooters. Basically a large West Auckland park that runs alongside Henderson and a creek. Ends up at the cycleway into town CBD alongside the Norwestern Motorway (in between Lincoln and Te Atatū South on-ramps). Fun walk/ ride. Interesting trees in the international garden area!”
“Really nice park. They are as of 13/07 they are repairing the basketball hoops so you can't play but the netball hoops are still working and they haven't closed those off. There is a lot of plants and trees and open space, saw a couple of rainbow lorikeets which was pretty cool. The only thing they need is a dog bowl connected to the water fountain. Apart from that it's great.”
“Such a treat to go there in Howick from Manurewa. Great deals on tickets and quiet even in the school holidays.”
“Had lunch here and it was very nice to sit in at a restaurant with exceptional service and great food! The portions were also generous, will definitely be back again.”
“Surprised how good the food was. Great chef, friendly vibes, and great views. We went during the day but will most definitely come back to for the evening menu!”
“Love love love the Huapai tavern! The bar staff are friendly and it feels like a home away from home, live bands on a Sunday and friendly locals make this one of the best places I have been to! Highly recommend giving the Hua a go!”
