“Lovely cafe in Grafton. Friendly staff. Awesome portion sizes, crumbed mushrooms were delicious! Can understand why the cafe is called Fluff as the toasted bread is def fluffy & is so pleasant to devour! The house made sodas are perfect, just the right amount of flavour (feijoa & apple pulp with a hint of grapefruit) & fizz. Highly recommend this cute cafe.”

“Friendly, delicious and gorgeous food and drinks, and fantastic coffee-- we loved it so much we went back every morning during our stay in Auckland. We tried a ton of different things are they were all amazing: hallloumi, chorizo hash, hotcakes, apple crumble, lemon bar. And the coffee drinks can compete with some of the best back in Seattle-- we loved the flat white and tall black, the latte, and the hot chocolate and vanilla fluffy were hits with the kids.”

“It's a quaint little area with a small space to hang out with the cats, but what it lacks in flair it makes up for in cats. They're very happy and friendly, one of them even made the jump up to sit on my shoulders. Highly recommend”

“In the heart of Auranga is a boutique cafe, Better Way. Owned by a lovely couple Nick and Peony, they serve the finest Allpress coffee along with a selection of Noble & Savage teas. There’s a small selection of sweet and savoury goods, definitely need to try the cookies if you’re around. Did I mention they also have Duck Island Ice cream!!!?? What’s better than visiting Auranga getting duck island Ice cream!”

“stopped in for dinner on our way home from watching the ALL BLACKS and i must say the owners are absolutely beautiful people, food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was so peaceful and friendly i would highly recommend the food was delicious and will definitely be back. this place is a must especially if you get into photography aswell the owners both have some awsome photography work on display on the walls and in a few published books our whanau throughly enjoyed it ❤️”

“Father’s Day 2025 celebration was had here, the place was bustling with diners enjoying themselves with food and drinks served by wonderful wait staff, prices are reasonable and quantity is satisfying as is the presentation and taste. “Food was incredible. Came here for my partners birthday at lunch time very quiet and Food was delicious had kufta and lamb kebab with bread and wow the garlic sauce that came with the kebab was amazing never had anything like it! Bread was great meat was so succulent. The kufta sauce was delicious and the meatballs were succulent and I wish I could have eaten it all but I was so full! Thank you for this amazing food”

As I mentioned to Maria our Maori/island cooks are some of the best , pure love is tasted in the food and it makes me proud to see our indigenous people thriving on the shore. “This was our first stop after landing in New Zealand, and it set a great tone for the trip. The space has a relaxed, stylish atmosphere, filled with greenery—including an impressive tree right in the center—that makes it feel warm and inviting. We ordered the pork banh mi and a cà phê sữa đá. The banh mi stood out for its flavorful pâté and excellent house chili, both of which added real depth to the sandwich. The coffee was brewed with a traditional phin filter, which I appreciated, though the overall flavor didn’t quite come together for me. Even so, the visit was a memorable and enjoyable introduction to New Zealand’s food scene.”

“Great wee spot, I have been coming since they opened. Rebecca is a sweetheart and makes super coffee.. she's super kind and friendly. You can park right at the door and dogs are welcome. Mix of traditional brunch options lunch, great pies quality ingredients.. they used to do the food at The Fridge in Kingsland. Laksa superb Nasi Goreng... on point Satay and roti great... I have tried most of their Malaysian stuff.. and i am back regularly. I bought home a great carrot cake today. They do very nice salads and counter food... and a slap up english breakfast and eggs Benedict. You can see they have super reviews... and are highly regarded by Auckland foodies in the know.”
