Long wait for cooked food and when it did arrive it was cold. Poached eggs were hard boiled. Very disappointing. Left with partial refund. Coffee was good.
Ordered bacon eggs benny, the 'poached' eggs were practically boiled. Worse though was the 'customer service'. The woman owner was friendly enough but the guy at the till had a personality of a log. Won't be back.
I was just passing through the shopping centre, and stopped for lunch. It's a nice little cafe, with the usual all-day breakfast options and some cabinet food. I went for a pie and sausage roll, and they were pretty good. Heated up, of course, but not soggy. They all seemed made in-house, and a step or two above the usual bakery fare. The service was friendly, and there was a reasonable flow of customers.
Great little friendly café in Meadowbank shopping centre. Grace makes great coffee and her French toast is fantastic! She makes a lot of her food on-site and her scones & muffins are among my regular favourites.
The people running this cafe are the friendliness most professional couple I have ever encountered. My mother & I will always dine at K & G cafe if we are in the area.
