Coffee is sooo delicious! The older lady that works there is super sweet and the other people are lovely too.

We visited L'Espresso four times through this week as our team of 7 people were making a podcast and we needed an early morning coffee shop to chat with special guests and our producer etc. Christie (owner/manager?) made us feel very welcome, made all our complicated coffee orders to perfection and allowed us to turn 3 tables into a mini business' meeting space. Would highly recommend the friendly service, the coffee, and the venue for having a chat - you can hear each other well. Thanks for helping make our week great, Christie!

Fast and happy service and nice food. They were happy to accommodate my request even though it wasn’t on the menu :)

It's a quaint little cafe family business John and wife. They bring a homely atmosphere to there little cafe to their community in Dominion road. I come for a coffee and sometimes date scone on my walks I stop and have a seat. This cafe is not like the bigger cafes in providing elegance and food galore treats. What it has is a genuine smile, a taste of inexpensive food selection and offering conversation of mornings to its local community of people and customers. They have small outdoor seating in and out of its cafe and offer good service to all who come in. Yes it's plain surroundings is at a glance to look at however they bring genuine customer service as one would need to stay in the run of other local cafes opening around them. They have been there as long as I have walked Dominion Road 5-7years and still their cafe doors open. They serve there community with love and friendship of knowing there customers mostly elderly and local trades and workers such as countdown. Maybe give them a go it may be not as flash or quaint that you will look in and walk pass and go to Pandoro cafe or the new Countdown cafe because it does not look full on the menu or seating is old-style or they accommodate for all walks of passerby. However they offer the community heart and food, for the local community a place to sit, chat, and relax over a coffee and treats that are not overly priced. A coffee, a cake, a meal brings joy to those customers who visit and know the owners as regulars. Don't judge on appearance they bring a lot to their community. At the end of the day they are a business that is run on meeting it's customer needs to keep its doors open amongst other local and new cafe retailers they have done well for its community in providing local service.

My partner and I got the big breakfast each and two coffees for $48 which is normal at most cafes. Difference being, this cafe gave us soggy dollar bag toast, cheap sausage and hard poached eggs. Other cafes in the CBD would make some bomb eggs bene for those prices. Maybe it's time for management to get some better ingredients for the amount of money you charge.

Good cozy cafe at the corner of the market at Dominion road. Sitting for about 15 people with option of sitting outside. Ample parking space in the compound. Nice service.
