I tried the peppercorn steak pie, and it was absolutely delicious. It was rich in flavour with no lumps, and the crust was really nice too. I presume I was served by the owner, and he was very friendly and kind.
Incredible food every single time everything is made in store fresh. The staff are absolutely fantastic talks to you every time if you go there enough they remember your name we go there regularly and it’s the same incredible vibe week in week out it’s also a small family business so go check them out and support them if you’re looking for a nice new spot.
Ordered a bowl of chips and chicken nuggets, two coffees, a eggs Benedict, and hot cakes to sit in. Waited a good 20 mins before we got given our first order which was the chicken nuggets and chips (very small portion for $6.50) then received our coffees. We then received our eggs Benedict and hot cakes which was a very small portion for what we paid for ($19.90 for the eggs) and roughly $12 for the hot cakes which was both received luke warm. The eggs Benedict was served on two small muffins with very minimal bacon and the hot cakes had no bacon and no assortment of fruit just a banana chopped up. When I asked if we could send it back as it was cold I got asked why and got told their was no problems with my food whilst the manager is shoving her fingers into it to prove a point saying she doesn't understand? I then hear all the staff arguing out back about the situation and then my partner gets stared at intimidatingly by the chef. We also had to ask for water as we weren't given a jug or cups. Won't be coming back, the only thing I can compliment on was the young waitress who apologized on her bosses behalf
Spaceous Cafe. The staff is really nice and thoughtful. Price is reasonable too. Such a lovely experience. Thank you!
They were consistently very careful and acommodating with my dietary restriction (no dairy), much more than other bakeries. Their burgers are pretty good; decent patties (not the thin Gilmours ones) and a proper assortment of fresh salad inside. It definitely feels like good value for money compared to other lunch spots in the area. The care they put into service is quite special!
The staff were friendly and the food and coffee were good. I had a flat white to drink and my wife had a frappe, both of which were on point. I also had a mince and cheese pie, which had great pastry and the perfect amount of cheese.
