We have purchased all our kids scooters from here along with helmets. We also purchased our two older sons bikes from Evo cycles and were disappointed that it didn’t receive a free service, they said their best deal would be $199 for 3 services. MyRide however when buying my daughters bike at the same time, have advised that we get a free service at 6 weeks, 12weeks and 6months. So if your anything like me and suck at servicing your own bike, MyRide is the place to go! Highly recommended to everyone.”

I arrived at the store end of last month with a broken rim and even though they were fully booked for repairs, they found a way to order a new wheel and repair my bike in a couple of days. “The management team at Wellington Macpac with a particular call out to Liv, are exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I had an issue with a pair of boots purchased from another Macpac (Taupo) and while they were less than helpful with the issue, Liv scooped it up and fully resolved it for me when it was really not their issue. I was blown away by the willingness to help and ongoing care to get the issue resolved. Highly recommend.”

“I don’t typically enjoy stepping foot inside a Hallensteins store as I find it is often filed with grubby teen lads, and I often don’t find clothing I would like to wear. However, I was more than impressed by the Lambton quay hallensteins. Particular note must be made of the lighting quality in the changing rooms. Doubled my shop time by simply staring at myself in the mirror. Copped 2 very nice t-shirts as well for a handy 2 for $50 deal! TLDR: worth going just to admire yourself in the changing rooms mirrors”

At one point, I was convinced I was right about a pair of jeans… turns out, she was. And the way she corrected me without making me feel even slightly awkward? Impeccable. She even gave me a knowing nod from across the room when I stepped out of the changing area — like she knew I just needed that little nudge.
