   I bought a retro hoodie in their Winter sale. I returned it the next day. The item was poorly made. Fabric pattern on the back did not align with a very obvious straight edge, it was angled. The young salesman went to find a replacement out the back because he said there weren’t any left in my size. Meanwhile he’s looking out the back, I find two in my size on the shelf. All are of pretty much the same shoddy workmanship. Salesman returns and snaps at me, that I should have told him I had found my size on the shelf. Was argumentative the whole time. The hoodie was definitely not worth $179 full price. I paid $119 in the ‘sale’ and eventually managed to pick one that was manufactured with a bit more care. Makes me wonder if the sale items were seconds? I wish Hamill’s would come back to the Wellington area.

The range of outdoor clothing options for all ages is impressive, and they have a fantastic selection of fishing, hunting, and outdoor equipment. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help without making you feel like it's too much effort. They go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. Additionally, the addition of a coffee shop is a brilliant touch, providing a perfect spot to relax and refuel. This store truly has it all. Highly recommended!
