Great and helpful staff. Very neat store setup.
We have dealt with this branch a fair bit, they are always very helpful and informative. The store manager is a top bloke, more than once he has gone beyond to provide us a great deal, recently I purchased a double skin bottle, unfortunately I dropped it an broke the lid, the manager replaced it without question. These guys know their stuff and they are a great bunch too.
Ewen and Logan are great assets to your Paraparaumu/Coastlands store. We were warmly welcomed into the store by Logan who assisted us with our shopping and provided a wealth of knowledge towards what we were buying. We had a couple of queries and Ewen went the extra mile to support us and took the time to get us a product in from another store, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you for a great in store experience, we will definitely visit again.
Had a wonderful customer-service experience at Kathmandu Coastlands this afternoon. My daughter and I were greeted as we entered the store; were asked by another staff member several minutes later whether we needed any assistance; and were asked again whether we needed help by the manager when they turned up with new stock. Great advice around sleeping-bags was offered - we were really just at the investigation stage - with no pressure to purchase on the spot. The personal, in-store, interaction really does matter. The staff are fine and good at their job. Unfortunately the gear cannot be trusted in any shape or form for what they claim it can do! Pretty much use Kathmandu equipment tramping if you want to have a horrible trip or become one of the people recused or worse! Oh by the way ALL product reviews on the website are heavily edited so anybody that puts a negative review has it pulled down!
Helpful friendly polite staff. Always greeted & assisted quickly. Even the occassional quiet word on when to hold off on a purchase afew days due to a sale coming up
