βFirst time trying shisha, staff were great & welcoming.β
βI order a decaff extra shot, and I haven't been let down. The girls here make a mean coffee. Highly recommend.β
βI commented here a couple of weeks back about my first experience being disappointing and my oat flat white was like a filter coffee. I was given the chance to try again and must say, the coffee this morning was perfect! Maybe I had a trainee at the time who knows but thanks for putting it right, nice that you genuinely care for your customers.β
βGreat service and friendly staff. One of the best tasting coffees in Lower Hutt.β
βEvery each times I visited here, I feel comfortable more than any other cafes around Queensgate. Itβs because Livi, the brilliant staff who is working there welcoming us all the time:) Once you visited, youβll surely have the hospitality and good conversation with her, that everyone wanted in cafe time. Comfy lovely fancy. Thatβs what I can say about this cafe. Try extra large size with multiple shots coffee, youβll never regret it. Chur!!β
βgot a flat white here. Family owned small business, food truck set up along the waterfront. Quick service and good coffee.β
βAbsolutely the best cup off coffee in Wellington. Bre and Nick make the atmosphere a perfect and welcoming place every single time. Coffee 10, Chats 10, cute occasional dogs and other nice customers 10. come here :)β
βThe staff are what makes this place: they are so nice and they listen carefully. My partner tells me I am the most fussy coffee customer on the planet; they listen to my order and always get it right with the perfect coffee.β
βIn my shortlist for best coffee in Wellington, really really good stuff. Have been here many times over a few months and each time has been great. The staff are well trained as is minimal variation in results. Great sitting outdoors too.β
βAmazing coffee and pastries!! 100% recommend. Great vegan options tooβ
βHaving a local coffee shop that sells fair trade, organic coffee sets this cool little place apart from all others in this area. This particular coffee hit the spot!!β
βStaying in Wellington for a couple of days and decided to stop by before flying out after seeing all the great reviews. Went first thing in the morning, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The ambience was exactly my style. Iβm not even a big coffee drinker, but I could still tell how good the coffee wasβdistinct and different from your average spot. You can tell they care about their craft. Iβll definitely be back to try more of their coffees next time Iβm in town.β
ββNo gods or kings, only cocktails.β The vibes here are super chillβperfect if youβre after something more lowkey. The place seems inspired by fantasy themes and games, giving it a mystical feel. We arrived as a group of four around 10:00 pm on a Saturday. The person serving us was really lovely, taking the time to explain the different types of drinks they offer and happily answering our questions about specific liquors or custom requests. She also made some great recommendations. We ordered the White Witch, Banana Bread (brandy), Arkangel (gin), and The Last Word (I think thatβs what it was calledβChartreuse-based). I especially enjoyed how fragrant the cocktails were, with the Banana Bread and Arkangel standing out. It was also cool to learn that they make a lot of their liquors and mixers in-houseβ including infused boozy cucumbers. We had a great time and really appreciated the hospitality. Would definitely love to visit again next time Iβm in Wellington.β
βOne of Wellington's hidden gems β absolutely amazing food and drink, catering to anyone's dietary requirements. Edit 2020/12/01: As of 8 months later, the food is even more amazing β a testament how the staff always welcome constructive criticism and use it to continually improve. Definitely recommended!β
βSo happy Iβve found a matcha latte that isnβt too sweet and is overflowing with umami! Great find!β
βBest sandwiches in Wellington and itβs not even close. It must be said the bread does a lot of heavy lifting in terms of making these Sammieβs what they are. Certainly no slouches on the filling either. Frequent menu rotation makes it easy to keep coming back for more. Good boy? Thatβs an understatement!!β
βEXCELLENT. I wish we had one where I live. The baked goods are very high quality.β
βI mean, warm, tasty empanadas, sweet, endulging homemade alfajores, classic kiwi chippies, beach side, in wellington on a nice sunny day... What more could you ask for. Need to stop here and get yourself a sweet (or two!) And a savoury if you're passing by. Highly recommend. She was lovely too.β
βWe go there almost every week for lunch. Could these be the best burgers in Wellington region? The souvlaki wraps are amazing too.β
βAbsolutely love this place!! The staff are so lovely, coffee is a 10/10 and the food is delicious! Karen and Tegan are always super hospitable and you can really tell they care about their customers. Will definitely be back!β
βThis cafe deserves all the positive reviews it gets. The coffee was the best one Iβd had on this visit to Wellington - great flavour, and nice and hot. The toasted cheese scone was amazing and weβll definitely go back for another on our next visit. The staff were respectful and friendly too.β
βI am working on the same building and this is not only a very convenient place to go, but best stop for cheese scone and coffee! Yummy Prestigios and delish EmpaΓ±adas. We went to try the WOP burger and it is a success! Rodrigo is lovely, always have a nice word! Well doneβ
βPopped in for a coffee just before closing and left with free muffins. Super friendly service and a very kind gesture. Thanks!β
βGreat place with great coffee options. Staff is extremely friendly.β
βAnother local favourite, with plenty of great ways to enjoy your fresh coffee - Steampunk and Nitro among the 'must try' options - and a knowledgeable staff happy to help find your favourites!β
βAbsolutely fantastic! Coffee is great. Atmosphere really easy and rustic (just as I love it. Something that I really loved is that they promote the use of your own cup instead of paper goblets (go green!) They also make their own pizzas. So far, the cheapest cafΓ© I had in New Zealandβ
