   Cute little neighbourhood Argentinian run cafe on Oriental Bay. With a seaside view this place offers a simple modern interior decor, funky contemporary music that serves coffee and Argentinian treats and pastry. The empanadas are delicious but my favourites are the egg and bacon pastry/tart and they serve the best cheese scones I’ve ever had- I taste test cheese scones wherever I go! The egg and bacon pastry/tart is served with this special Argentinian sauce that’s unique and delicious that I highly recommend trying- Chimichurra sauce. Service is courteous, polite and friendly.

   One of the best empanadas I've tried. Even though I've already been to Argentina. Very well made, with very tasty fillings. I can strongly recommend the mushroom and spinach ones. The place is pleasant, facing the sea. I visited Wellington twice in 3 days, and brought some home. I would say that the coffee needs to improve a little, for me it had an extra dose of cinnamon, but it could have just been a mistake. The alfajores are very good too.

   I was recommended this cafe on the basis of the high quality cheese scones. When I finally remembered to come here I realised that I was already a big fan of the empanadas that I had been purchasing from Moore Wilsons without realising where they were from. I'm happy to say that the coffee is also amazing and the cheese scones are also fantastic. The service is great, friendly and genuine, and just as good when the cafe is busy as when it is quiet. It is one of my favourite cafes now!

   Empanadas are super tasty. Coffee is good too but went on a sunny day last time and they are busier than ever so the wait was around 30 minutes. Definitely head there outside of peak timing because it's worth it.

   Yummy Empanadas, tried 3 flavours. We like the chicken, ham & mozarella, not the beef. Lovely view of the city and Oriental bay. Wonderful staff.

   Delish! I had a long walk, and when I passed this place, I decided a snack was more than deserved. The corn and pumpkin empanada went down so well, that I needed second one, so went for the beef. Yum! The beef was tastier of the 2. Both staff were friendly, and provided recommendations. I really wanted to try the alfajores but had to skip them - they did look amazing! There were a few vegan options of both too. Also had a clean bathroom that was very much appreciated :)
